Here’s quite a claim from Dallas Fed president Richard Fisher: 37 percent of all net new jobs since the start of the recession were created in Texas.
Furthermore, Fisher argues that Texas’s success in creating jobs is directly attributable to the fact that “it has rejected the economic model that now prevails in Washington” and its “…free market and business-friendly climate.”
