Maxim has brought recent Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer aboard as the magazine’s Military Advisor and will be donating the proceeds from its upcoming Maxim Salutes the Military special issue to Meyer’s efforts to raise a million dollars to “honor Marines by educating their children” — a pretty remarkable gesture when you think about it. Huge kudos to them!
