Terry Gets a Wrong Number

Ever wonder how your email address gets on various mailing lists?

Me too.

I received a fund-raising email this morning from Terry McAuliffe, looking for financial support from me because he’s running for his life “against an extreme Trump-backed culture warrior.” Boy did Terry get a wrong number.

It was Terry’s ill-luck that in my case he reached a culture defender, living comfortably in Hillary Clinton’s box of deplorables. Deplorable as defined by Mz. Hillary and leftist crackpots like Terry McAuliffe who are the true culture warriors.

Anyone who doesn’t recognize that leftists are the aggressors in the culture war is just not paying attention. The left comes up with crackpot ideas to replace social arrangements that large majorities are happy with, depend on, even cherish. Then when traditional Americans object to the nonsense the left brands them as “divisive” and the elite media endorse the gag. McAuliffe himself has broken new ground in this civilization-destroying hustle by insisting that American children belong to the state. He insists that parents should butt out and not object when Comrade Teacher fills their children’s heads with hateful ideology, racial animosities, or promotes the latest sexual proclivities of the bat guano left.

In his e-pitch, McAuliffe declares himself “stunned that we haven’t gotten more support to hit our fundraising goal.” But considering the extreme positions he has taken in this campaign, I’m stunned that he’s collected enough in donations to pay the parking fees for the campaign bus. Sensible Virginians have a reasonable hope that he’ll be stunned again on Tuesday evening.

So I hope the guy who sold Terry my email address is out of town with the money. He’s some hustler. But all the emails in the world, even campaign cash for mendacious last minute campaign ads, won’t help McAuliffe against a solid opponent who recognizes CRT for the racist and destructive lie that it is and knows that American children belong to their parents, not to their local government school board.
