SUBSCRIPTION FAQS

Account Registration

You can subscribe to The American Spectator by clicking on the green subscribe button in the top right hand corner of the site, or by going to https://spectator.org/subscribe/.

 

If you are hitting the paywall, you will need to log in to an actively subscribed account. If you already have an account, use the green login button in the top right hand corner of the site, and input your email and password. If you do not have an account, you will need to subscribe. If you have a lapsed account, you can select the option that you are already a user in the subscription process.

You can resubscribe to The American Spectator by clicking on the green subscribe button in the top right hand corner of the site, or by going to https://spectator.org/subscribe/

Select your plan by clicking the green subscribe button under the option of your choice. 

In the personal details, hit the green button that says “already a user? Log in here” and input your email address and password, proceed with the subscription.

 

Logging In

Use the green login button at the top right of the screen and input your email and password. Please ensure you are using the correct password and that you are using the correct email address that you used to set up your account. If you need to reset your password, that can be done.

To reset your password, click on the “forgot your password?” button on the login page. Input your email address and hit the green “reset password” button. An email will be sent and you can verify and change your password.

 

 

If you want to reset your password while you already are logged in, go to the “edit account” tab. 

 

Payment/Billing

This will depend on your plan. If you have a monthly plan, you will be billed when you subscribe and then repeatedly each month afterwards. If you have an annual plan, you will be billed when you subscribe, and then one year later. If you have a quarterly foundation membership you will be billed when you subscribe and then one year later.  Our billing is not done on a “first of the month” or “last of the month” basis.

If you need to change your payment method. Log into your account and click the “edit account” button. 

 

From the my account page, click on the subscriptions tab. Click on the green actions button drop down menu and select the change card option. 

 

Input your new card’s information, and your account will be updated!

Yes, when on the subscribe page, select the “gift subscription” box and then continue with the subscription process as normal.

 

 

Ensure that you put down the correct billing and mailing addresses, as they might be different.

Discounted pricing on subscriptions last for a year.  At the end of the year regular pricing will be enabled. 

Account Features

Go to their author page, a pop up menu should occur that will allow you to sign up to get notified when they write.
