Last night two Palestinians, evidently dressed up as ultra-Orthodox Jews, shot and killed four people at The Max Brenner Cafe in Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market.
But if you watched MSNBC’s coverage of the attack in the video below, all you would have heard is about “the Occupation” and the “Occupied West Bank” and “Israel’s extreme right-wing government”.

When ISIS kills Parisians sitting in cafes does anyone blame France’s extreme left-wing government?
But then again the mainstream media isn’t out to delegitimize France.
When Israeli authorities detained the two Palestinians responsible for the attack, CNN’s Facebook page characterized the perpetrators as “terrorists”.
After being taken to task, CNN issued a statement which read, “As a result of an editing mistake, an earlier version of this story appeared to call into question whether the Tel Aviv attack was an act of terrorism. It undoubtedly was. The story was corrected.”
It’s a dubious explanation at best, but it’s an explanation. While CNN claims their coverage was “an editing mistake”, MSNBC can’t edit away its claims of the “Occupied West Bank” and “Israel’s extreme right-wing government” so easily.
