Israel’s attacks on Iran could not have come soon enough. According to recent Israeli intelligence, following the October 7 massacre, Iran had secretly divided its scientists into “several working groups” to work on developing a nuclear bomb, and a recent breakthrough in research put it weeks away from weaponization.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran already has enough uranium for nine bombs. To pre-empt yet another genocidal attack on the Jewish State, Israel struck Iran. While Israel skipped an opportunity to kill the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, on Friday to allow him to yield, in just a few days, Israel has significantly degraded the threat. Damage to Nuclear Sites

First, Israel has dealt significant damage to Iran’s nuclear sites. The Natanz nuclear site may have imploded due to Israeli strikes. Israel has struck the Natanz nuclear site on Sunday night through Monday, following reports that Israel had already “critically damaged” it. Known damage includes the destruction of the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant (PFEP) underground enrichment halls and approximately 14,000 centrifuges.

Israeli attacks have also damaged four “critical buildings” in the Esfahan Nuclear Technology Center, including the fuel plate fabrication plant and the uranium conversion facility used to produce nuclear fuel. Israel also struck the Fordow nuclear facility, hitting the above-ground structures, while below-ground cascades and centrifuges appear not to have been hit. However, both Israel and the United States are confident that they can strike Fordow below ground if needed. Israel has also struck Parachin(RELATED: Breaking: The US May Enter Israel–Iran War)

Assassination of Senior Commanders

Additionally, Israel assassinated several of the country’s top commanders. Israel assassinated Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, who was the chief of the Iranian Armed Forces. He held the highest rank of all of Iran’s military when he was killed. He had previously been the commander responsible for supplying Russia with drones. He was sanctioned by the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU, and Canada. Israel also took out Amir Ali Hajizadeh, who was the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC’s) Air Force. He had been sanctioned by the United States and Canada.

Israel also assassinated Esmail Qaani, who was the commander of the Quds Force following Qasem Soleimani’s assassination. He admitted that the IRGC had been operating in Syria. He had been sanctioned by the U.S., Canada, and the EU. Israel also finished off Hossein Salami, who was the commander of the IRGC. He was the commander of both Iran’s Quds force in the Middle East and the Basij militia within Iran.

Israel also killed Mohammad Kazemi, who was the head of the IRGC’s intelligence branch. He had been sanctioned by the United Kingdom. His right-hand man, General Hassan Mohaqiq, was also killed in the same strike, as well as Moshen Bakri, the head of the Quds Force Intelligence Directorate, and his right-hand man, Abu al-Fadl Nikouli. Bakri and Nikouli supported Iran’s proxies in the Middle East and helped Iran consolidate power in Syria and Lebanon.

Gholam-Ali Rashid, who was the commander of Iran’s emergency command, was also taken out by Israel. He admitted that Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Popular Mobilization Units (in Iraq), and the Houthis were all Iran’s proxies, creating “deterrence in the service of our dear Iran.” He was sanctioned by the U.S. and Canada. Four days later, Israel assassinated Rashid’s successor, Maj. Gen. Ali Shadmani.

Additional assassinations included: Taher Pur, who was the commander of Iran’s UAVs; Dahoud Shiyan, who was the commander of the country’s air defense; and Ali Shadmani, Khamenei’s chief advisor and wartime chief of staff.

Assassination of Nuclear Scientists

Israel also assassinated several scientists who had key roles in the development of Iran’s nuclear program. According to Gulf sources, Israel has assassinated 14 scientists so far. This includes Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani, who supported the weaponization of the nuclear program and was sanctioned by the United Nations Security Council for developing weaponized systems in 2007. He survived a previous assassination attempt in 2010 that many attributed to Israel. Just last month, he discussed building a nuclear weapon, stating that he would follow orders to do so.

Israel also assassinated Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi of Azad University, who reportedly supervised the development of nuclear weapons, including testing explosives. He had been sanctioned by the US. Ali Bakhouei Katirimi, who was an expert in mechanics and helped develop an explosive mechanism for nuclear weapons, was also killed by Israel.

Other nuclear scientists that Israel killed in the last few days include: Mansour Asgari, who was a physics expert; Saeed Barji, who was an expert in materials engineering; Amirhossein Feqhi, who was a nuclear professor at Shahid Beheshti University; Abdulhamid Minouchehr, who was the lead nuclear engineer at Shahid Beheshti University and an expert in nuclear reactor physics; Akbar Motalebi Zadeh, who was an expert in chemical engineering; and Ahmad Reza Zolfaghari Daryani, who was a nuclear engineering professor and expert at Shahid Beheshti University.

In just a matter of days, Israel has scored significant wins in its war against Iran. Hopefully, Israel can continue its victories and remove the nuclear and ballistic missile threat that Iran poses to it and the United States alike.
