To add to the file of terribly misguided and wrong statements from Debbie Wasserman Schultz today: in the course of criticizing Repulicans for opposing the auto bailouts, she said that “If it were up to the candidates for president on the Republican side, we would be driving foreign cars…”
Needless to say, it turns out that she drives a foreign car.
Normally these kind of “gotchas” are not worth pointing out. But Schultz is the head of the DNC, and as such she’s entitled to beclown herself if that’s what she wants.
