Biden Will Fail His Interview Tonight

Democrats are demanding that Biden get in front of the American people and speak without a teleprompter to prove that he still has it together.

But here’s the problem: he has cognitively lost it. An interview or any appearance without a teleprompter will necessarily show that.

The speaking engagements Biden has done since the debate have shown that.

In a Philadelphia radio show appearance on Thursday, Biden said: “By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, the first Black woman served with a Black president.”

Also on Independence Day, he stumbled around on a stage in front of the White House, called former President Donald Trump his “colleague,” and then stated, “I probably shouldn’t say, any rate,” before trailing off.

In his sit-down interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos, which will air tonight at 8 p.m., Biden will face harsh questions about his mental acuity and ability to be competitive in the presidential race. Stephanopoulos would certainly face backlash from Democrats who have turned on Biden if he does not seriously question the president.

To put aside the fact that Biden slurs his speech, constantly trails off, and has trouble staying focused on what exactly it is he is trying to say, Biden has had very little experience with facing tough questions as president. He has done fewer interviews than any modern president apart from Ronald Reagan. When he has done interviews, it has been in friendly settings. To make things worse, Biden has a history of getting very angry when people criticize him. We saw that last week in the debate, as well as in the reporting that his team censors the president’s daily briefings so as to not anger him.

Biden will struggle mightily in this interview. He simply does not have the ability to perform.

It can only get worse for him from here.
