James H. McGee

James H. McGee served nearly four decades as a national security and counter-terrorism professional, retiring in 2018 as a senior security advisor in a Cabinet-level agency. Since retiring, he’s embarked on a second career as a political commentator and author of military action thrillers. His political commentary appears regularly in The American Spectator. His just-published second novel, The Zebras from Minsk, sends his “Reprisal Team” into action to thwart a plot to destroy critical infrastructure across the U.S. and disrupt the 2024 elections. His first novel, Letter of Reprisal, tells the tale of a desperate mission to destroy a Chinese bioweapon facility hidden in the heart of the Central African conflict region.
