Hosts Aubrey Gulick and Luther Abel spent their last episode of The Spectator P.M. Podcast of 2023 talking about Christmas traditions and the endless amount of energy kids possess. In keeping with the Christmas theme, Aubrey recommends James H. McGee’s “If Only in My Dreams” while Luther breaks from the Christmas spirit to discuss Scott McKay’s “Barack’s Lieutenant: The Racism, Revenge, and Ruin of Claudine Gay.”

Podcast producer Kate Kruse joins for the second half of the program to talk about the current dating scene among young conservatives and the hopelessness of online dating. Luther and Aubrey close out the year with a lively discussion on family bookshelves and their upcoming New Year’s resolutions. (READ MORE: All Hail Cate Blanchett)
