Oprah Winfrey, the media maven and Hillary supporter had an “ah ha” moment: She might run for president. Trump convinced her that she might be able to do it. She said, “I used to think that I might not have enough experience, now I’m thinking, oh, OH.”
Hmm…
Joking aside, Trump’s presidency may open paths for all sorts of people who wouldn’t have considered running. So far, Kanye West and the Dallas Mavericks dude and some other unlikely politicians have mused about the presidency.
The more the merrier, I say. Professional politicians haven’t exactly demonstrated special gifts in the politics department unless one considers bitter spite a gift.
If Oprah were to run, I believe she’d be formidable. 2020: Trump v. Oprah?
