Best Oscars Ever

by

Just in case your faith has been shaky lately, God came through at the Oscars last night. In what has to be the most mortifying and hilarious endings on an award show, Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced the wrong movie for Best Picture, La La Land (which was okay, but not great). So the whole La La Land crowd got up on stage and started speechifying when they were corrected and told that, in fact, Moonlight won.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Mayhem.

Quelle horreur!

I’m sharing the moment below because it, forgive me, trumps everything that happened earlier in the night. Every spiteful joke, side eye, shade thrown, and barbed dig at Trump was eclipsed by this colossal screw up.

A couple years ago Trump tweeted this:

And God laughed.
