The Spin Never Ends at the NYT

by

No one should be shocked to read the lead of the page one election story in this morning’s New York Times, the nation’s preeminent left-wing news-letter. It’s masterpiece of the left advocate’s art:

“Donald John Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States on Tuesday in a stunning culmination of an explosive, populist and polarizing campaign that took relentless aim at the institutions and long-held ideals of American democracy.”

No, no, arugula-breath. The campaign didn’t take aim at American institutions and ideals. The campaign took aim at — and scored direct hits on — those who’ve hijacked American institutions and ideals in the name of a dreary, impoverishing, and smothering left-wing agenda.
