Cascade, Washington Mall shooter taken into custody just now. His name is Arcan Cetin, a Turkish immigrant who had been arrested a year ago on a simple assault.
He killed five people at the mall. Doesn’t appear he knew his victims.

Lt. Michael Hawley was the arresting officer. Cetin wasn’t armed at the time. He was carrying a laptop.
Police have the rifle he used.
No answer on motive.

ALMOST CERTAINLY MENTAL ISSUES: Or at least an history of persistent hooliganism. Of course, that doesn’t preclude terrorist involvement. I love the way our media just says “no terrorism” over and over like an incantation. However, for now the 24h rule is in effect.
