I’m sure many TAS readers got a laugh, as I did, out of the faux tears Mz Hillary shed on a recent TV interview. Expect more of this nonsense now that the Clinton campaign is scheduling more spontaneity into her campaign events. Her handlers have urged her to show more heart, even in the face of the overwhelming evidence that she lacks one.
It all reminds one of the quote from the late, great campaign consultant, George Burns, to wit: “Sincerity — if you can fake that, you’ve got it made.”
