Sam Brownback sounds like he is likely to jump into the presidential race also, calling himself a “full-scale Ronald Reagan conservative.” Meanwhile, Mitt Romney burnishes his conservative credentials. Could turn out to be a good debate after all. But I hope it doesn’t turn into a race about loyalty and repaying favors, like the recently-completed GOP congressional minority leadership competitions did.
