No one seems to be connecting the shutdown of embassies with Obama’s birthday. I predict that, in the future, we will celebrate Obama Day as Brits do the Queen’s birthday, with public celebrations and the closure of public buildings. At least of embassies in the Arab world.
But no fireworks. Homeland Security wouldn’t like that.
