IF… and this is a big IF…. Romney does not win Michigan, I was just telling my wife a half hour ago about an idea I have been kicking around for a week. Then I started looking at NRO’s the Corner, and, lo and behold, it turns out a reader there already beat me to it.
Thompson should ask Romney to join him AS A TICKET, before the South Carolina primary. The ticket would be so novel it would totally shake up the race, and it might be well-nigh unbeatable. But read the NRO link: The reader did a great job explaining the idea.
