Let's Not Call the Whole Thing Off

What does Senate Environment and Public Works chairwoman (I assume she doesn't want to be called "chairman") Barbara Boxer call Climategate?

What does Senate Environment and Public Works chairwoman (I assume she doesn't want to be called "chairman") Barbara Boxer call Climategate?

"You call it 'Climategate'; I call it 'E-mail-theft-gate,'" she said during a committee meeting. "Whatever it is, the main issue is, Are we facing global warming or are we not? I'm looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public."

Boxer showed her passion for law-and-order at today's committee meeting.

Boxer said her committee may hold hearings into the matter as its top Republican, Sen. James Inhofe (Okla.), has asked for, but that a criminal probe would be part of any such hearings.

"We may well have a hearing on this, we may not. We may have a briefing for senators, we may not," Boxer said. "Part of our looking at this will be looking at a criminal activity which could have well been coordinated.

"This is a crime," Boxer said.

Considering that a lot of Climategate has to do with the muzzling of scientists that hold views contrary to alarmism, you might think the honorific-conscious senator would be concerned about the exclusion of their research from professional journals. After all, nearly four years ago she demanded an investigation into the Bush administration's alleged silencing of NASA's James Hansen:

In light of recent reports that the Bush Administration attempted to severely restrict NASA’s top climate scientist Dr. James E. Hansen from discussing his scientific findings on global warming, U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) today urged two Senate Committees to investigate the extent of the Administration’s efforts to censor scientists for political purposes.

Got that? TWO committees!! For ONE guy! Who lied about it!

I believe she is the Chairma'am of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Let's get it right before she investigates ALL of us.

=====================================
It’s no suprise that Senator Barbara Boxer will major in the minors and be a miserable failure in majoring in the majors.
=====================================
She’s ignoring the trillions of dollars being committed to the failing of the Bernie Madoff of global environmentalism deceit and instead concentrates on a two-bit email hacker.

(and I think she should be called "chairman" because I believe she is)

Paul,

Please keep up the good work reporting on the cover-up as it moves into Congress. There are many in Congress who have big bets (of prestige, political future, and money) on the scam. They will not go down quietly.

The momentum is with us now. We must organize and press the issue.
Who were the perpetrators of this fraud? From the lowliest, arrogant "scientist" at Penn State, right up to the White House, and the denizens of mansions in BelAire.

Metaphorically speaking, heads will roll.

Al Gore and his minions have jetted around the world, plotting how to destroy our economy and way of life, all the while demanding that we peons ride the bus or subway, and turn our thermostats down to 60.

Their "let them eat cake" attitudes are eerily similar to previous elites. The communist elites enjoyed the same privileges and mouthed the same type of platitudes. Where are they now?

No Consensus--No Warming (NOC-NOW)--Stop the Scam--Halt the IPCC

We have a quickly growing Yahoo Group (CO2 is Plant Food), and a petition (NOC-NOW) that simply spells out a Declaration of Climate Independence.
We also have a Facebook Group: No Consensus--No Warming (NOC-NOW)--Stop the AGW Scam.

The petition will be provided to the US Congress, the White House, the UN, the IPCC, the EU Commission, and other representative bodies involved in "Climate Change" policy deliberations.

We will be heard.

Please join the group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/co2isplantfood

And sign the petition: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/NOC_NOW/
We can stop this scam, together.

""Part of our looking at this will be looking at a criminal activity which could have well been coordinated.

"This is a crime," Boxer said. "

If Boxer is referring to the purloined data I don't think the Senate's jurisdiction extends to Great Britain. Someone should tell the junior senator from California the Constitution does not grant the Senate powers to inverstigate crimes in a foreign nation.

JP,

That ignores the clear direction we are headed - that is, to one happy unified world where everyone loves everyone else. If a crime occurs anywhere, certainly the future head of the World Government (likely the Mocha Messiah himself) would look into it.

The emails weren't the only thing leaked.

The actual hacked climate model source code explained by a software developer:

This puts the emails to shame, trust me.

Has environmentalism become environMENTALism?

How has “we must be doing something to our planet” become “SAVE THE PLANET” for 23 years of warnings and still none of us has experienced this atmospheric hell “they” promised?
We can make the sky more blue, the grass and trees more green and the weather less mean?
We can heal planets, kill planets and return to the ancient ways of putting HUMANS at the centre of the universe?
All power emanates from us human monkeys and NOT Nature anymore?
Are we our very own Gods now?
Is this Freudian hero transference on a mass scale?
I have the answers.
It’s because this sewer of untreated information called the Internet is not something we are intellectually and emotionally evolved enough to use in a responsible and productive way.
Advances in evolution are at the expense of tragedy and it’s obvious that Climate Change marks a massive backwards step for this so-called advanced civilization.
Think of this as modern day witch burning times ten!
I wish us as a society could put aside our greed and petty hidden agendas and not only be motivated by fear. I wish we as environmentalists, could be responsible environmentalists who put the smoggy 70’s and Rachel Carson in perspective so we can continue to preserve, protect and respect nature and face the future of progress with courage, not the fear and ignorance of this CO2 mistake called Climate Change.

we election in this sprawling upstate district represents a political "revolution." canada goose another ACORN revelation (presumably from the O'Keefe/Giles video duo) is coming tomorrow, and he characterized it as "devastating.
