Like yesterday's Club for Growth poll, this one is sponsored by a conservative organization, the Minuteman PAC, but even with that grain-of-salt factor, a trend is becoming apparent:

  • Doug Hoffman (Conservative) 34%
  • Bill Owens (Democrat) 29%
  • Dede Scozzafava (GOP) 14%

The meltdown of the GOP Establishment's hand-picked candidate is the big story here.

Scozzafava has all the appeal of a $40,000 2 seat electric car.

I want Hoffman to win, but these polls aren't credible.

Newt Gingrich was on On The Record with Gret Van Susteren last night and attempted to justify the GOPs reason for backing Scozzafava. What he doesn't understand is that Conservatives are willing to give a seat to a Democrat to send the message to the GOP that we don't want any more RINOs! After the fiasco that is this current administration, we cannot afford to continue to back or vote for wishy washy conservative/moderates. And unlike this current administration, we want real change and won't pontificate a desire for it, but will do what is necessary to bring about the change. We should all send whatever we can to help Mr. Hoffman's campaign and pray that the election turns out for the best.

It's unconscionable that Newt should rationalize away and justify on national TV with Greta his abysmal and egregious decision to support a liberal, "so-called" Republican in the person of Dede S.

If nationally prominent Republican leaders continue to rubber-stamp a run-away, machine-controlled nominating body -- exemplified in this case by the BOOB Joseph Mondello, a D'Amato operative (as reported by Robert Stacy McCain on his blog) then the PARTY deserves to crash and burn.

Where I come from, we exert CONTROL over lower-ling nimcompoops so that they don't SABOTAGE the whole works -- which is obviously what is taking place now.

Do you RINOs hear me????
