Just When You Thought Things Couldn't Get Any Worse for the GOP...
Philadelphia Weekly recently ran a story on the "growth of a multicultural, progressive survivalist movement," which generated some interesting mail, like this bit from concerned resident Maria Ortiz:
Your survivalist story was not only interesting but also somewhat true. The Bush administration has put this country on the edge of chaos with its lack of policing; I do not just mean literal policing but also regulatory efforts that create fair exchange. My family is from Mexico, many are members of the Latin Kings, many worship at the altar of Santisima Muerte and help the Mexican cartels with their business. My American friends do not realize what a danger these entities are. The next step is kidnapping. I know from a man who married into the family that University of Pennsylvania students are going to be targets—mainly young Republicans because they will elicit the least public sympathy.
Interesting and somewhat true--high praise! As for the rest, it is reassuring to learn child, gangbanger and Newsweek alike all understand there is enough despair in the world already without us collectively losing any sunshine-spewing, hope-mongering Obama supporters. Know your real enemy, people--and kidnap them!
The tragedy, of course, is the Monopoly Man is in no position now to pay all the ransom demands the Latin Kings will no doubt soon flood his inbox with.

What a racist thing to say! How dare America protect its borders and assert its sovereignty! Who the hell does America think it is?
Borders? We don't need no stinkin' borders!
Who cares how much murder, mayhem and malfeasance are created by the unholy alliance between illegals streaming across the border and gluttonous Democrats drunk with power?
It's all for a good cause - to keep people like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Henry Waxman, Barbara Boxer, Maxine Waters, Barbara Lee, Chuck Schumer, Charles Rangel, Dick Durbin, John Kerry and on and on and on in power, so they can keep extorting your money so they can give it to illegals, so more illegals will enter the country and become democrats so they can keep all of the above in power!
How dare you question this wonderful policy.

I agree with Alexs that we are headed for a domestic war indeed. I used to think it would be a battle between the "haves" and the "have nots". I am being forced to change my way of thinking to now believe it will be between the "have nots" and our elected officials since they are going to be the only people with money or gold. They have taken all of mine and yours and we now found ourselves siding with the "have nots". The rural "have nots" will be planting gardens and killing any stranger that comes near it. The urban "have nots" will be rioting and stealing that money and gold from all of the nice homes(whats left of them) and killing each other. When all that is gone the urban "have nots" will come looking for the rural "have nots" and will either help us grow and protect our food or die trying to steal it.
How are they going to pay for bodyguards or the military with paper fiat money that is worthless?
I wonder what the sun will do to Pelosi's face when she is forced to labor long hours in a garden to support herself and her family. I am sorry, I forgot that we will not have any modern medical care facilities to care for her old, wrinkled butt and we will have to put her out of her misery
When the city "have nots" have killed each other and the elected officials come out of their government protected bunkers they will come to the rural "have nots" and we will put their sorry butts to work in the field to help grow the food for them to live off of.
They will soon learn that their money and gold mean nothing to a person who cant go to the store or buy any products with it.
A farm tractor, mule, goat, pigs, cows, an old plow or any other item you can find on a farm will be worth more than money or gold.
Old, wrinkled prunes will not be a welcomed food item at any of the farms that I am aware of.
