In a wonderful new book entitled Thinking Aloud, David
Holzer has transcribed a series of candid conversations with the
late Talmudist and philosopher, Rabbi Dr. Joseph B.
Soloveitchik (1903-1993). This remark struck me in
particular:
Last Yom Kippur, I brought in the newspaper and read the
headline before going to shul (synagogue) about Russia
launching a satellite into space. Why should Russia have
achieved this victory over America which, truly religious or
not, at least tries to believe in God and enshrines religion as
part of its cultural heritage? It was disturbing that the
brutal Russian state should win the race over the Western
world. It took a few hours to overcome this feeling of
numen absens.
For me, this sensation -- although I lacked the magnificent Latin
phrase -- was a familiar one, always in matters concerning
abortion. There are powerful forces arrayed against the helpless,
doctors in white coats, judges in black robes, and they have been
winning, sometimes by skill, sometimes by ingenuity, sometimes by
persistence, and sometimes by luck, since 1972. Debates are
conducted, platforms written, laws and constitutional amendments
proposed, referenda composed and justices nominated, but somehow
the result is always the same: babies are being killed.
How can we possibly hope for redemption as a society if we are
allowing the buds of life to be snipped in their incipiency? I
have spent many broken hours pondering this with no prospect of
amelioration.
Now we have a President whose claim to uniqueness, to historical
moment, to passional poignance, is his partial rooting in a
downtrodden race. He represents, or claims to, the aspirations of
people who have been denied their due by those who ruled by
might. He is suited by his heritage to hear the plea of the
fallen and the beaten, the outsider, the underdog. So have we all
been told, so have many of us been sold. Yet this man turns
his ear to the plaintive cry of the child being wrenched from his
womb, and he hears nothing to excite his compassion.
Summoned to Notre Dame to address the graduating body, our
President waded right into the abortion debate by offering this
courageous assessment: "the fact is that at some level, the
views of the two camps are irreconcilable. Each side will
continue to make its case to the public with passion and
conviction. But surely we can do so without reducing those with
differing views to caricature."
This typical politician's way out -- I promise to respect you as
I defeat you -- is perhaps the best we can hope for on most
matters. Say, on global warming we disagree, but we can decide to
respect the good faith of the guys who think the cars and light
bulbs are burning up the world. It may sound idiotic, it may lead
to a destruction of our economy, it may upend civilization as we
know it, but what the hey, we can be civilized about this. There
must be some nicer way of telling someone you think he is an
idiot.
But how can we be expected to apply this to abortion? The minute
one accepts there are two points of view and people of good will
can arrive at one or the other after fair deliberation, we are
already debased as a culture. The point is simple and not open to
debate: we cannot allow live human beings to be killed, babies
with heartbeats and nerve endings and brain waves. The cradle of
civilization is not meant to be a coffin.
We must respect the other side in this sensitive, finely wrought
debate? We must appreciate the agonizing process of working out
the subtle arguments? Sorry, Mister President, count me out. I do
not respect people who kill babies, nor do I respect people who
think the state -- patron of brokerages, car dealerships, parking
spaces and broadcast rights -- has no business stopping people
from such killing.
Here we arrive at the saddest truth of all. I expect this nation
to be much poorer financially after Obama leaves, I expect it to
be seriously diminished as a world power and I fear that it may
never recover. None of that bothers me as much as the thought
that a man can vote as a State Senator to kill babies who are
born in botched abortions, and that such a man can be considered
by his fellow citizens worthy of being their leader. That leaves
me reeling, disoriented and unmoored. Back to the Latin,
then, something you don't hear much around Notre Dame anymore:
numenabsens.
About the Author
Jay D. Homnick, commentator and humorist, is a frequent contributor to The American Spectator. He also writes for Human Events. Here he performs his original composition, "Buy You (Bayou) a Drink".
Abortion at some level is simply another form of racism. That is
why it is embraced so ardently by members of the Democratic
Party, whose history of racism is well documented. The Democrats
have reinvented themselves by not reinventing themselves. They
simply embrace new forms of racism and secular humanism as fast
as they come down the pike. That is also precisely why they
embrace elitism in all it's various formats.
http://www.renewamerica.us/columns/creech/050221
One form of racism, however, that has largely gone unnoticed
today by the African-American community is abortion. I agree with
Rev. Johnny Hunt of the Life Education and Resource Network, who
says abortion is racism in its ugliest form. "Because of some
very suave planning by abortion supporters and providers," writes
Hunt, "abortionists have eliminated more African-American
children than the KKK ever lynched." Of course, Hunt, a black
American, isn't excusing the dastardly deeds of the KKK, but is
simply pointing out there is a much bigger injustice currently
being perpetrated against blacks than was being committed against
them when the Klan was at its zenith. Hunt contends abortion has
robbed millions of black Americans of the most essential of all
rights — the right to life ... the right to opportunity ... the
right to give something.
According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more
than three times as likely as white women to have an abortion.
The Family Research Council says that African Americans represent
12 percent of the population but suffer 32 percent of the
abortions in America. The Culture of Life Foundation &
Institute adds that more than 1,400 black children are aborted
every day. Since Roe v. Wade, that makes about 15 million African
Americans removed from the population who can never make any
contribution to their race or their country.
The Culture of Life Foundation & Institute further notes:
"Given the increased rate of abortion among African Americans, it
is fair to ask whether this community is specifically targeted by
the abortion industry. The writings of Margaret Sanger, the
founder of Planned Parenthood, gave ample evidence of her belief
in eugenics and her plan to reduce the African-American
population through 'family planning.' But that was over 60 years
ago. Today, however, we do see a concentration of abortion
business in African-American neighborhoods. For example,
according to Michigan Right to Life, of the 36 abortion clinics
remaining in Michigan, 11 are in Detroit, a black majority city.
Of those 11, nine are in African-American neighborhoods or have
predominantly African-American customers."

Brilliant article. I feel the exact same way. I refuse to "agree
to disagree" when it comes to the killing of fellow unborn
Americans. Someone has to stand up for them. We have a president
who is more concerned about the rights of terrorists than for the
rights of the most innocent among us. Someone who wants to expand
the practice of sucking out brains and dismembering babies. He is
someone who thinks it should be legal to leave babies to starve
to death in soiled linen closets. Tell me, where is the "common
ground" there? Pres. Obama talks, talks, and talks. He says
things that on the surface sound nice. But, all one has to do is
look at his actions on this and you will find where his true
stance is on abortion. He has been uncompromising on it. If a
woman wants to kill her baby, then by God-kill that baby! He is a
souless ghoul. This is not about politics. It is about human
rights, plain and simple. It is a battle for the soul of this
nation. One more thing, if abortion is a "fundamental right,"
then why does it have to be "rare?" We have a fundamental right
to speech, I don't hear anyone saying THAT should be rare. If
people really listened to their hearts about abortion, it would
be illegal. Everyone knows deep down, it is wrong.
Big J| 5.21.09 @ 8:56AM
Excellent point, Robert. I had never looked at the issue from
that angle. Not that these facts would ever be useful against the
"free choice" crowd or the "family planning" clan.
It's sad that such a horrible crime has been painted with terms
like "freedom of choice" or "family planning". Another tool the
left uses to justify an action that is plain and simple murder of
the innocent.
Bobbi, you are correct. There can be no compromise on this issue
and / or many others. There is no middle ground both sides can
meet on. There is black, then there is white. End of discussion.
That Obama thinks we can just "agree to disagree" either shows
his naivete, or his utter contempt for his opposition on the
issue. Or maybe both.
It's surreal that he even holds the position he does with such
beliefs.
Simon Goldman| 5.21.09 @ 9:15AM
Jay, I agree in the short term things look bad.
But we must all remember that we (pro-life) are right and they
(pro-choice) are wrong. Gravely, terribly wrong, in the way that
the Nazis were wrong. All the power of the German state could not
change the fact that Nazism was wrong. And all the power of
doctors, lawyers and debased politicians will not change the fact
that the killing of the unborn is a terrible evil.
We will pay for our crimes, of course, with broken families,
broken-hearted women and numbed and guilty men. Our society will
feel the loss of those missing millions as an amputee feels the
loss of a limb. And our country will feel shamed for generations,
as we feel shamed about our part in slavery.
But we will in the end win because underneath the lies, all they
have to offer is a dark, empty, pitiless vision world, and when
the bright light of truth is shone on them, their hideous
ideology is laid bare for all to see.

Y'all,
Jay, excellent article. I completely agree with your sentiments
and argument.
If Obamanation's extreme view of abortion--and how could it get
more extreme than advocating and voting THREE times against the
Born Alive Act--is not an "inherent evil", I'm not sure what is?
Maybe the next step is to allow even "later-term" abortions e.g.,
if you don't like the way your two year-old is turning out, you
can have Dr. Kevorkian's relatives come and snuff the little
booger out while sleeping.

I am reminded of a discussion with a former life long friend of
mine a couple of years ago. It was at the time SCOTUS reversed
the death penalty for a 17 year old who I think was from
Missouri. The murderous little bastard kidnapped a woman from her
home, tortured her, wrapped her up in duct tape and while she was
still alive tossed her into the Mississippi River to die. This
woman was a wife and mother. SCOTUS
stu.b.con| 5.21.09 @ 10:02AM
sorry. SCOTUS in its infinite liberal genius overturned his death
penalty. At the end of a spirited discussion on the merits, my
liberal *former* friend argued..." a civilized society does not
execute its children" What temerity, what audacious sanctimony, I
was nearly speechless at the hypocrisy of this statement from a
man who had no problem with partial/late term abortion which
literally, calls for a doctor to suck the life out of a human
being. When I pointed out the hypocrisy, he cited the same
supreme court and Roe v Wade to justify the execution of a child
as a "matter of law". There can be no doubt that abortion is an
abomination and those that support are morally bankrupt.
We must find a way to turn the argument back to where it belongs,
there can be no "common ground" murder is murder. Acceptance of
abortion reveals a society that is more than comfortable with the
execution of its children, as long as that child doesn't fit the
leftist agenda.
They are Godless hypocrites and poison to mankind.

The " numen absens " for me in all this the empty Catholicism of
Notre Dame. Those familar with Catholic universities know this
was a long time coming. Obama and his advisors cleverly decided
to take down Notre Dame as a symbol of opposition to his
expansion of abortion as a fundamental right.
He delivered the usual, feel - good message full of eloquence and
shockingly absent of truth or reason. He had a lot of help from a
the students and faculty in the unfolding of this absurdity. The
students don't know their faith. The faculty don't believe their
faith. The Administration now has every reason to hope that much
of the abortion debate will now shift behind Church walls. I'm
surprised the final ovation for the President didn't include a
cheer of " We have no Pope but Obama".

issues, they don't want animals to be mistreated, and I agree.
But these hypocrites that fiercely protects animals also fiercely
fight for the massive killing of millions of human babies.
Isn't human life more valuable than animal life?
For these hypocrites, no; they will even dare to say that both
lifes have the same value, or worst, that we are over populated,
too crowded, so, new human life is not only of no additional
value, but of a negative value.
I always ask these kind of pro-death guys:

that an unborn child is a mere convenience is simply beyond my
comprehension. And, I don't believe that it is necessarily a
matter of religion. It should be a matter of basic human
intelligence and civility.
The fact that one of our major political parties has pinned its
current existence on the continuation of something so barbaric is
indeed a fitting testimony to that party.

The Dems history of supporting racism and in keeping black people
under their oppressive thumbs seems to only change in tactics,
but not in end results.
The KKK, at it's peak, was 90% white protestant democrats. The
KKK was founded by five Democrats.
The separation of church and state as we know it today was
promoted by the KKK and was a required oath of all of its
members. Hugo Black was a KKK member turned supreme court judge
and introduced American law to the false use of the separation of
church and state concept.
LBJ in his own biography was noted saying that blacks had become
uppity but that they were gaining political strength as a race
and that the Democrats should toss them a bone. Not enough to
make a difference but enough to keep them quiet.
The above LBJ thought process remains with Democrat leaders
today. Their hope is to keep blacks quiet (meaning voting for
Dems) by tossing them useless bones. Little flavor, but nothing
of real sustenance.
Today, according to statistics, blacks are losing ground in every
major aspect of life, yet they continue to vote for Dem policies.
Those blacks that get out of this rut are more often than not
gravitating towards the Republican party. But Dems have a long
history of successfully deceiving blacks and the poor in general
and so it will be a long and difficult haul to set things
straight.
Jesus stated that the poor will be with us always. Maybe he was
onto something.

To the poster who said that George Bush was the most evil man
since Hitler -
You are a rambling fool, and clearly know nothing at all about
the horrors Hitler inflicted on the world. The comparison is so
utterly without root, devoid of logic, distilled hysteria and
hype in their purest form. To throw around the word "Hitler" like
it is some kind of meaningful anecdote in relation to George Bush
is to completely dimiss and demean the atrocities of World War
Two, and you should (but likely won't) be ashamed that you could
imagine such a thing.
On topic, I find the article to be excellent and spot-on, in
particular paragraph 7 through 9. There can be no 'engagement' or
'civility' in a discussion where one side believes it's no big
deal, and the other side believes it is slaughter of human beings
at its worst.
No Leftist I know, including the above poster, would have the
audacity to actually consider the other side's view on this. Only
in the twisted mind of liberalism may one find it a no-brainer to
slay our children at convenience, then spare our mortal enemies
from even the most restrained of "enhanced" interrogation.

Kinley Ardal. Well spoken. Liberalism has been an age old
disease. Both the old and new testament make mention of the type
of diseased person that "calls night day and day night. That put
evil for good and good for evil." The scriptures go on to say
"woe unto" such people. Yes, it is odd that we are faced with
such sickness that allows people to get key issues so arse
backwards. But it not only exists today but has done so for
thousands of years (minimum). We have a real battle on our hand,
not to try to prevent such idiots from being born but at least to
prevent the liberal fool from gaining political power over
others. As the saying goes, when the wicked rule, the righteous
mourn. We are in a period of time when childish self serving
fools (Obama on down) are in power. Let us work towards removing
such backwards thinking evil fools from power at all levels of
government.

Republican party is also a lily-white racist party, too, as
demonstrated by Marc Jeric above. Too bad that the whites are

So David celebrates ending racism by getting rid of whites and
defining racism as a problem only when practiced by whites

Next, the good ol' "extremist" label which, like bigot and

A popular American self-deception concerning abortion is that
both sides of the issue have valid points. But it's really more
the case of mourners at a wake showing respect for the dead.
Whether you liked the deceased or hated his or her guts, you're
expected to be solemn, respect the dead although the dead won't
realize it, comfort the surviving family, demonstrate sympathy -
we have a strictly defined code of conduct for our burial
rituals.
But for secular thinkers, abortion also represents the pending
death of our society and its moral code - they're reluctant
mourners at their own funerals. Under evolution, "survival of the
fittest" or differential survival is based solely on which group
produces the most offspring. The emerging younger species
replaces the older species through the simple process of having
more surviving offspring which carry their genes.
A society that eliminates its potential children lacks a basic
evolutionary fitness. And the first world nations appear to have
an unconcious - and widespread - death wish from an evolutionary
viewpoint. Those nations and pockets of first world societies
with high birth rates may lack material wealth but they have a
clear evolutionary advantage in their values, a selective
advantage that will triumph over time and render the counter
arguments moot. Nature has an inexorable mechanism for
eliminating the unfit.
But evolution is a slow process as we're told, so we may as well
have polite discussions while waiting for our society's gradual
extinction.
Louis Jenkins| 5.21.09 @ 3:18PM
A criminal gets a chance to appeal a guilty verdict in court. A
fetus gets no chance for appeal once the death verdict is made. A
criminal has a chance to get away from the scene of his crime. A
fetus has nowhere to run or hide. A criminal can make a choice
whether to commit the crime or not. A fetus just happens to be
the result of two adults copulating without a thought for the
consequences. A criminal has a right to a death without pain and
suffering. A fetus gets pain and suffering for the mere crime of
being conceived. Criminals have every benefit of the law. A fetus
is a non-entity. A criminal, if executed, gets a funeral and a
burial blot. An aborted fetus gets thrown out with the medical
waste. A society that shows distain for the innocent unborn is
not a society.

When I was 19, I went into a Planned Parenthood Center because I
was informed I could get free birth control pills there and save
the $3.50 per month price from a pharmacy. I entered, told them
what I was there for, got the information and retreated. There
were all kinds of phamphlets about women "taking control" and
what to do in case of an unwanted pregnancy. I was young and
naieve and didn't realize the "taking control" gambit was
"aborting." After I arrived home, I realized that I felt "dirty"
and was out of sorts. I never went back. The $3.50 I would have
saved wasn't worth the "dirty" feeling.
I saw several women in a public television special about the 60's
and 70's. One woman stated she had had eight abortions; another
said she had had five and others one, two or three. The one that
had eight actually admitted to using abortion as a "form of birth
control." She liked the freedom it gave her (to control her own
body). I once again got that "dirty" feeling and turned off the
T.V.
Once can couch the argument of "choice" in lots of flowery
language but the outcome is still "dirty" to this day. The
outcome is tragic, but I say the women who practice abortion
because they feel they are in "control" are really in control of
nothing but "dirty evilness."
I, personally, have no use for any human being that can't
distinquish a moral value from a "right to control outcomes" that
results in the dehumanizing of all of us. I'm afraid to say that
a lot of these women have become and will become our leaders. It
will truly be a sad day for America when the women who think they
are controlling their own destiny start controlling others
through governmental policies. It's been bad enough that the
SCOTUS gave women the supposed "control right" but denied others
the "right" to not live in a society that debases the very
beginning of humanity.
Obama could have very easily given thousands of young women hope
and change by just stating that they is always another choice for
them and this Nation will support that other choice through
government policies that will encourage the survival of its baby
citizens. The Nation already does this through AFDC, welfare,
educational benefits and on and on and on. Maybe those women need
to hear it to believe it since most of them they are young and
naieve just like the 19 year old was 35 years ago.
I passed the Planned Parenthood Center the other day again. I
hadn't gone by it for 35 years or so and I still felt "dirty" and
sad. Sad for all of the young women who have been misled into
believing that killing your child will give you "control." It can
only give you grief in the long run. Maybe not in the short run,
but the sub-conscience of the brain has a way of keeping moral
decisions and the consequences around for a long, long time.

It is interesting, the hear about the KKK, and who formed what

racial hatred against the Palestinians, like the same group
supported Racial Hatred against the people of South Africa. They
also supported racial hatred in Now called Zimbabwe, plus support

Over 53 Million people were killed transporting Black Slaves from
Africa to build up America, most of the people who profited from
this ill fated crimes were Jewish, trying to make a fast buck. As
they do today on the Stock exchange and on Wall Street.
Unfortunately many of these criminals are now Christian
Fundamentalist, and if they discovered there was a haven and
Blacks would rule in heaven would rather live in hell, which is
where most of us are now. History is not taught in School in
America for obvious reason, because there would be a conflict of
53 Million Blacks murdered for profit to the Jews against 6
Million who is aledged to have died in Germany.
They would also have to explain why all the German Scientist was

Divide. Many Nazi or KKK control not only the political system
but the Legal system, to promote discrimination, still goes on to
this day, and most of these evil criminals are in the Republican

which, if you bothered to educate yourself a little more, you

2.5 The Peace Treaties with Egypt and Jordan
According to the peace treaty with Egypt (following the Camp
David Accords), Egypt regained the Sinai Peninsula and an
international border was fixed by consent between Israel and
Egypt. The peace treaty with Jordan fixed the international
border between them. Israel does not have an international border
with Syria and Lebanon. Such a border can only be fixed by
agreement between Israel and these countries.
2.6 The Status of Yesha in Public International Law
Judea, Samaria and Gaza were all part of the Palestine Mandate
territory until 1948. During Israel’s War of Independence, Egypt
occupied (unlawfully, under public international law) the Gaza
Strip, and Jordan occupied (likewise, unlawfully) Judea and
Samaria (the “West Bank”).9 Egypt has never claimed title to the
Gaza Strip. By contrast, Jordan purported to annex Judea and
Samaria in 1950. The annexation was not recognized under public
international law, Britain (with a reservation regarding East
Jerusalem) and Pakistan being the only states to recognize the
annexation, which was also vehemently opposed by the Arab
states.10
In 1967, following the Six Day War, the territories of Yesha,
which had been originally designated for the Jewish national home
according to the Mandate document, returned to Israeli rule.
Leading international law scholars opined that Israel was in
lawful control of Yesha, that no other state could show better
title than Israel to Yesha’s territory, and that this territory
was not “occupied” in the sense of the Geneva Convention, since
those rules are designed to assure the reversion of the former
legitimate sovereign which, in this case, does not exist.11
Israel was therefore entitled to declare that it has exercised
its sovereign powers over Yesha. In practice, however, for
political and other reasons, Israel exercised its sovereign
powers only with respect to East Jerusalem. Regarding the rest of
Yesha, Israel’s official position was that Israel was entitled to
annex them, and that, since they had not been taken from a
legitimate sovereign, the Fourth Geneva Convention and the Hague
Regulations 1899/1907 were inapplicable there. Nonetheless,
Israel chose voluntarily to observe and abide by the humanitarian
provisions included therein.12
In 1988, King Hussein declared that Jordan severed its legal and
administrative ties with the West Bank.
In 1993, the PLO signed the Declaration of Principles which
states that Resolutions 242 and 338 should provide the basis for
negotiations with Israel. In 1994, in accordance with the
agreements made with the PLO, Israel handed over to the
Palestinian Authority extensive powers – regarding both civil and
security affairs – over a substantial part of Yesha in which the
Arab population was concentrated.
Resolutions 242 and 338 do not mandate the establishment of a
separate Arab state in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip. Neither
have the interim agreements entered between Israel and the PLO
determined the question of sovereignty over these territories.
3. The Jewish Settlements in Yesha Under Public International Law
3.1 The Rules of Public International Law Regarding “Occupied
Territories”
Even if Israel had been an occupant in Yesha, Jewish settlement
there would have been permitted under public international law.

John Harlow – Times Online May 24, 2009
SOME of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to
consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the
world’s population and speed up improvements in health and
education.
The philanthropists who attended a summit convened on the
initiative of Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder, discussed
joining forces to overcome political and religious obstacles to
change.
Described as the Good Club by one insider it included David
Rockefeller Jr, the patriarch of America’s wealthiest dynasty,
Warren Buffett and George Soros, the financiers, Michael
Bloomberg, the mayor of New York, and the media moguls Ted Turner
and Oprah Winfrey.
These members, along with Gates, have given away more than £45
billion since 1996 to causes ranging from health programmes in
developing countries to ghetto schools nearer to home.
They gathered at the home of Sir Paul Nurse, a British Nobel
prize biochemist and president of the private Rockefeller
University, in Manhattan on May 5. The informal afternoon session
was so discreet that some of the billionaires’ aides were told
they were at “security briefings”.
Stacy Palmer, editor of the Chronicle of Philanthropy, said the
summit was unprecedented. “We only learnt about it afterwards, by
accident. Normally these people are happy to talk good causes,
but this is different – maybe because they don’t want to be seen
as a global cabal,” he said.
Some details were emerging this weekend, however. The
billionaires were each given 15 minutes to present their
favourite cause. Over dinner they discussed how they might settle
on an “umbrella cause” that could harness their interests.
The issues debated included reforming the supervision of overseas
aid spending to setting up rural schools and water systems in
developing countries. Taking their cue from Gates they agreed
that overpopulation was a priority.
This could result in a challenge to some Third World politicians
who believe contraception and female education weaken traditional
values.
Gates, 53, who is giving away most of his fortune, argued that
healthier families, freed from malaria and extreme poverty, would
change their habits and have fewer children within half a
generation.
At a conference in Long Beach, California, last February, he had
made similar points. “Official projections say the world’s
population will peak at 9.3 billion [up from 6.6 billion today]
but with charitable initiatives, such as better reproductive
healthcare, we think we can cap that at 8.3 billion,” Gates said
then.
Patricia Stonesifer, former chief executive of the Bill and
Melinda Gates Foundation, which gives more than £2 billion a year
to good causes, attended the Rockefeller summit. She said the
billionaires met to “discuss how to increase giving” and they
intended to “continue the dialogue” over the next few months.
Another guest said there was “nothing as crude as a vote” but a
consensus emerged that they would back a strategy in which
population growth would be tackled as a potentially disastrous
environmental, social and industrial threat.
“This is something so nightmarish that everyone in this group
agreed it needs big-brain answers,” said the guest. “They need to
be independent of government agencies, which are unable to head
off the disaster we all see looming.”
Why all the secrecy? “They wanted to speak rich to rich without
worrying anything they said would end up in the newspapers,
painting them as an alternative world government,” he said

Written in 1985 by Jack Bernstein
My Farewell to Israel, Thorn of the Middle East
Before Israel became a state in 1948, Jews worldwide were filled
with Zionist propaganda that Israel would be a homeland for all
Jews, a refuge for persecuted Jews, a democratic country and the
fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
I am an Ashkenazi Jew who spent the first 25 years of my life in
the United States, the country that has given ALL Jews freedom
and the opportunity to prosper -- and prosper we Jews did, to the
point that one portion of the Jews (the Zionists) have gained a
position of political and economic dominance in the U.S.
To fully understand the story I am about to tell, it is important
that you understand what Zionism really is. Zionist propaganda
has led the American people to believe that Zionism and Judaism
are one and the same and that they are religious in nature. This
is a blatant lie.
Judaism is a religion; but Zionism is a political movement
started mainly by East European (Ashkenazi) Jews who for
centuries have been the main force behind communism/socialism.
The ultimate goal of the Zionists is one ONE-WORLD GOVERNMENT
UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE ZIONISTS AND THE ZIONIST-ORIENTED JEWISH
INTERNATIONAL BANKERS.
Communism/socialism are merely tools to help them accomplish
their goal.
I was a Victim of Zionist Propaganda
After the 1967 War, we Jews were filled with pride that 'our
homeland' had become so powerful and successful. Then too, we had
been filled with the false propaganda that Jews in America were
being persecuted. So, between 1967 and 1970 approximately 50.000
American Jews fell for this Zionist propaganda and migrated to
Israel. I was one of those suckers.
After being filled with all this false Zionist propaganda, I felt
that I would have a better chance to succeed in the new Jewish
state. There was an added enticement, the spirit and challenge of
pioneering and of helping my fellow Jews.
Dual Citizenship
I had no emotional conflict with leaving the U.S. because I was
still able to keep my U.S. citizenship and could return to the
U.S. at any time. You see, Jews are allowed to be citizens of
both Israel and some countries -- U.S. is one of those countries.
The U.S. government allows a Jew to be a citizen of both U.S. and
Israel.
German Americans cannot be citizens of both the U.S. and Germany.
Italian Americans cannot be citizen of both U.S. and Italy.
Egyptian-Americans cannot be citizens of both the U.S. and Egypt
. . . BUT, a Jewish American can be a citizen of both Israel and
the U.S. THIS IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE POWER THE ZIONIST JEWS
HAVE OVER THE U.S. GOVERNMENT.
I Arrive in the "Jewish Paradise"
Before leaving for Israel, a Jewish friend of mine had made
arrangements for me to stay a few days with her sister, Fawzia
Daboul and her spinster aunt. After arriving at Lod Airport just
outside of Tel Aviv, I took a bus to the home of Miss Daboul and
her aunt. When I saw Fawzia, it was love at first sight. I
started calling her 'Ziva' her Hebrew name. Ziva is a Sephardic
Jewess from Iraq who, like myself, had fallen for the Zionist
propaganda and had migrated to Israel. She was employed as a
hairdresser.
The Kibbutz
After visiting with Ziva and her her aunt for two days, I left to
spend 6 months at Kibbutz 'Ein Hashofet' one of the well over 150
such communes then operating in Israel. Since then, many more
have been started -- especially in the territory taken from the
Palestinian Arabs. A kibbutz is a farming and sometimes
industrial venture. It is important to explain that Israel's
Kibbutz system is a Marxist idea brought to Israel by the
Ashkenazi Jews who migrated to Israel mainly from Poland and
Russia. These Jews are part of that bunch of Jews know as the
BOLSHEVIKS. Before 1917, they were the force that laid the
foundation for the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 in Russia and the
start of Communism.
Again, I want to point out, even emphasize, that it is some of
that same bunch of Ashkenazi, Communist/Socialist Jews who
migrated to Israel, gained control of the Zionist Movement and
have dominated the government of Israel since its beginning in
1948.
Now, back to the kibbutz -
Prior to 1967, most of the work on the Kibbutz was done by Jews.
But, since the 1967 War, the work has been done by Arabs who are
paid a very low wage, and by volunteers from overseas. Members of
the Kibbutz (all Jews) share all things equally. They receive
clothing, food and a small allowance. All profits from the
venture go into the Kibbutz account for future use. EACH OF THESE
KIBBUTZ ARE AFFILIATED WITH ONE OF ISRAEL'S MARXIST PARTIES
ranging from SOCIALIST TO HARD-CORE COMMUNIST.
The Kibbutz I was in was not hardcore communist. Yet, I was happy
to leave after 4 months -- two months earlier than originally
planned. During the time I was working in the Kibbutz, I carried
on courtship with Ziva. She was one of the reasons I left the
Kibbutz after only 4 months -- we were to be married.
Our Marriage Created Problems
The marriage ceremony was held in the Sephardic Synagogue. The
ceremony was simple but beautiful. Ziva and I were happy, but our
marriage created serious problems. You see, Ziva is a Sephardic
Jewess and I am an Ashkenazi Jew. For an Ashkenazi Jew to marry a
Sephardic Jew is frowned upon in Israel by the ruling Ashkenazim.
To understand why this is the case, you must realize the
difference between the Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews.
The powerful Zionist propaganda machine has led the American
people to believe that a Jew is a Jew -- one race of people and
that they are "God's Chosen People". I will deal with the "God's
Chosen People" LIE later. First, it is important for you to
understand that Jews are NOT one race of people.
There are two distinct groups of Jews in the world and they come
from two different areas of the world -- the Sephardic Jews from
the Middle East and North Africa and the Ashkenazi Jews come from
Eastern Europe. The Sephardic is the oldest group and it is they,
if any, who are the Jews described in the Bible because they
lived in the area described in the Bible. They are blood
relatives to the Arabs -- the only difference between them is the
religion.
The Ashkenazi Jews, who now compromise 90% of the Jews in the
world, had a rather strange beginning. According to historians,
many of them Jewish, the Ashkenazi Jews came into existence about
1200 years ago. It happened this way:
At the eastern edge of Europe, there lived a tribe of people know
as the Khazars. About the year 740 A.D., the Khazar king and his
court decided they should adopt a religion for their people. So,
representatives of the three major religions, Christianity, Islam
and Judaism, were invited to present their religious doctrines.
The Khazars chose Judaism, but it wasn't for religious reasons.
If the Khazars had chosen Islam, they would have angered the
strong Christian world. If they had chosen Christianity, they
would have angered the strong Islamic world. So, they played it
safe -- they chose Judaism. It wasn't for religious reasons the
Khazars chose Judaism; it was for political reasons.
Sometime during the 13th century, the Khazars were driven from
their land and they migrated westward with most of them settling
in Poland and Russia. These Khazars are now known as Ashkenazi
Jews. Because these Khazar Ashkenazi Jews merely chose Judaism,
they are not really Jews -- at least not blood Jews.
Throughout their history, these Polish and Russian Ashkenazi Jews
practiced communism/socialism and worked to have their ideas
implemented in these countries.
By the late 1800s significant numbers of these
communist/socialist Jews were found in Germany, the Balkans and
eventually all over Europe. Because of their interference in the
social and governmental affairs of Russia, they became the target
of persecution by the Czars. Because of this, migration of these
communist/socialist oriented Jews began. Some went to Palestine;
some to Central and South America; and a large number of them
came to the U.S.
Brilliant article. Here are my thoughts on this very subject:
An explanation exists. I was recently plagued by the fact that
many liberals, in addition to torturing their namesake all the
time, did so unforgivably when they defended President Obama's
steadfast opposition to Illinois' version of the Born Alive
Infant Protection Act. For those not familiar with this piece of
legislation, it simply protected babies who were born alive --
living and breathing independently -- despite the "mother's"
unsuccessful attempt to abort them. How this champions the
"liberty" of the weakest among us -- as a liberal's namesake
demands they do -- is beyond my comprehension. But amidst my
profound disappointment with my fellow countrymen, I mentally
stumbled onto what I believe to be, even if not a justification,
at least an explanation for what has transpired.
It has become increasingly apparent that many if not most
liberals are more susceptible to abandoning their values when
they must do so to support their favorite politician. This is
unfortunately becoming common no matter how immoral and illogical
that politician's positions may be. However, at least from my
vantage point, we rarely find a conservative defending a
right-leaning politician with arguments that not only set a
double standard but torture both logic and fact in the most
extreme ways.
Take the case at hand. Some argued, including President Obama,
that he only led the opposition to this Act because the
legislation had no provision protecting the life of the mother.
How does this pass for honest and reasoned thought? Correct me if
I am mistaken, but have we come to a point that we no longer have
enough healthcare professionals to care for both a baby on one
table and the mother on another? Must we doom these babies to
death, screaming for their life while neglected in a waste
closet? Is saving both no longer an option? I doubt this to be
the case.
So why do many liberals assault and abandon this basic value of
human life? The answer, I think, can be gleaned from the place
politics frequently enjoys in the life of a liberal, as opposed
to a conservative. For the latter, morality and values are not
just political statements but religious ones as well. In fact,
for most conservatives, religion has a far greater place in their
life than politics could ever hope to occupy. Therefore, even if
a beloved politician fails to live up to a conservative’s moral
standard, we have no real incentive to keep him around. And if
the moral violation is serious enough, the source of a
conservative’s morality, religion, in fact demands that we
discard that politician for a better model.
Liberals do not enjoy this luxury. Many liberals rely on politics
to provide them with meaning that they would otherwise be
without. In far too many ways, politics has effectively become
their religion. That being the case, the party comes first and
once-held moral convictions are increasingly left to the wayside.
If their politician loses, therefore, they lack a similarly deep
religious belief on which to fall back. So they defend without
fact-finding; they defend without logical thought; they defend
without their soul. And countless babies have died as a result.

I'm going to state right now that I'm not for abortion as a
contraceptive. However, as a medical procedure to save the life
of a mother who will certainly die if she carries a child
full-term, or done so that a woman will not forcibly have to
carry the child of someone who raped her, then I'll admit I'm a
little lax about it.
For instance: If a woman is in her first trimester, and is
diagnosed with an inoperable cancer in her brain, but learns it
can be treated with chemotherapy and radiation, she would have to
abort her child in order to live. If she carried the child and
underwent treatment, the unborn would die, anyway. If abortion
was COMPLETELY illegal, she may feel the guilt and would rather
not undergo treatment. Why allow both lives to end prematurely?
It's a terrible scenario, but not unrealistic.
But young women having abortions because 'their
boyfriends/sex-pals just didn't feel like wearing a condom' is
completely unreasonable. In the 1950's, that never would have
been considered 'okay'. Back then, if you screwed around without
exerting caution, you paid the price. People want to live without
consequences nowadays, and that's not how life works.
If I had ever conceived, due to a pre-existing condition and an
inherited gestational disease, I would have faced death. So I
took every precaution I could, and this eventually led to a tubal
ligation, just to make sure I would not have to face such a
horrible decision.
There are too many children out there that are unwanted, and I
would rather adopt one of those children (no matter the age)
instead of leave them to foster care or parents who abuse them.
If you don't want a child, you either don't mess around or you
put the child up for adoption. End of story. There is no excuse
for aborting a child with no voice that was a result of
carelessness and being provocative. Though I admit that I believe
a life-and-death (or sexual assault) situation is completely
different.

Dina,
Abortion is the INTENTIONAL killing of an unborn baby (fetus in
Latin). If a woman gets chemo while she's pregnant, she is not
intentionally killing her baby. She is getting treatment for her
cancer. If the baby dies, it is not the same as executing an
abortion.
It all depends on the intent. But there is never a medical reason
to intentionally kill (abort) an unborn baby, according to
several physicians I've heard.
Remember, there are always two individual lives involved when it
comes to an abortion. Three, when the father is involved and
doesn't run away. One is completely innocent. In cases of rape
and incest, why should the baby suffer for the crimes of another?
Abortion is always intrinsically evil. It is never morally
permissible under any circumstances.
You might not approve of abortion being used as birth control,
but it has been since Roe v. Wade was decided back in 1973. And
thanks to everyone who voted for B.O., this won't change anytime
in the next 4 years.

"Why should Russia have achieved this victory over America which,

That was a quote from your article. You wrote that.
We believe in God. He does what we cannot do. Makes sense of his

"But how can we be expected to apply this to abortion? The minute
one accepts there are two points of view and people of good will
can arrive at one or the other after fair deliberation, we are
already debased as a culture. The point is simple and not open to
debate: "
To live in a democracy, you have to cope with it whether you
accept it or not.
The proposal here is that, since we never going to agree on
whether abortion is permissible or not, but we both agree that
fewer abortions is better, can we work together to that end?
The logical implication is that if you refuse to work with your
opponents to reduce abortion incidence, then saving life is not
your real priority.

Abortion at some level is simply another form of racism. That is why it is embraced so ardently by members of the Democratic Party, whose history of racism is well documented. The Democrats have reinvented themselves by not reinventing themselves. They simply embrace new forms of racism and secular humanism as fast as they come down the pike. That is also precisely why they embrace elitism in all it's various formats.
http://www.renewamerica.us/columns/creech/050221
One form of racism, however, that has largely gone unnoticed today by the African-American community is abortion. I agree with Rev. Johnny Hunt of the Life Education and Resource Network, who says abortion is racism in its ugliest form. "Because of some very suave planning by abortion supporters and providers," writes Hunt, "abortionists have eliminated more African-American children than the KKK ever lynched." Of course, Hunt, a black American, isn't excusing the dastardly deeds of the KKK, but is simply pointing out there is a much bigger injustice currently being perpetrated against blacks than was being committed against them when the Klan was at its zenith. Hunt contends abortion has robbed millions of black Americans of the most essential of all rights — the right to life ... the right to opportunity ... the right to give something.
According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than three times as likely as white women to have an abortion. The Family Research Council says that African Americans represent 12 percent of the population but suffer 32 percent of the abortions in America. The Culture of Life Foundation & Institute adds that more than 1,400 black children are aborted every day. Since Roe v. Wade, that makes about 15 million African Americans removed from the population who can never make any contribution to their race or their country.
The Culture of Life Foundation & Institute further notes: "Given the increased rate of abortion among African Americans, it is fair to ask whether this community is specifically targeted by the abortion industry. The writings of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, gave ample evidence of her belief in eugenics and her plan to reduce the African-American population through 'family planning.' But that was over 60 years ago. Today, however, we do see a concentration of abortion business in African-American neighborhoods. For example, according to Michigan Right to Life, of the 36 abortion clinics remaining in Michigan, 11 are in Detroit, a black majority city. Of those 11, nine are in African-American neighborhoods or have predominantly African-American customers."

Brilliant article. I feel the exact same way. I refuse to "agree to disagree" when it comes to the killing of fellow unborn Americans. Someone has to stand up for them. We have a president who is more concerned about the rights of terrorists than for the rights of the most innocent among us. Someone who wants to expand the practice of sucking out brains and dismembering babies. He is someone who thinks it should be legal to leave babies to starve to death in soiled linen closets. Tell me, where is the "common ground" there? Pres. Obama talks, talks, and talks. He says things that on the surface sound nice. But, all one has to do is look at his actions on this and you will find where his true stance is on abortion. He has been uncompromising on it. If a woman wants to kill her baby, then by God-kill that baby! He is a souless ghoul. This is not about politics. It is about human rights, plain and simple. It is a battle for the soul of this nation. One more thing, if abortion is a "fundamental right," then why does it have to be "rare?" We have a fundamental right to speech, I don't hear anyone saying THAT should be rare. If people really listened to their hearts about abortion, it would be illegal. Everyone knows deep down, it is wrong.
Big J| 5.21.09 @ 8:56AM
Excellent point, Robert. I had never looked at the issue from that angle. Not that these facts would ever be useful against the "free choice" crowd or the "family planning" clan.
It's sad that such a horrible crime has been painted with terms like "freedom of choice" or "family planning". Another tool the left uses to justify an action that is plain and simple murder of the innocent.
Bobbi, you are correct. There can be no compromise on this issue and / or many others. There is no middle ground both sides can meet on. There is black, then there is white. End of discussion. That Obama thinks we can just "agree to disagree" either shows his naivete, or his utter contempt for his opposition on the issue. Or maybe both.
It's surreal that he even holds the position he does with such beliefs.
Simon Goldman| 5.21.09 @ 9:15AM
Jay, I agree in the short term things look bad.
But we must all remember that we (pro-life) are right and they (pro-choice) are wrong. Gravely, terribly wrong, in the way that the Nazis were wrong. All the power of the German state could not change the fact that Nazism was wrong. And all the power of doctors, lawyers and debased politicians will not change the fact that the killing of the unborn is a terrible evil.
We will pay for our crimes, of course, with broken families, broken-hearted women and numbed and guilty men. Our society will feel the loss of those missing millions as an amputee feels the loss of a limb. And our country will feel shamed for generations, as we feel shamed about our part in slavery.
But we will in the end win because underneath the lies, all they have to offer is a dark, empty, pitiless vision world, and when the bright light of truth is shone on them, their hideous ideology is laid bare for all to see.
JJ JR| 5.21.09 @ 9:34AM
Y'all,
Jay, excellent article. I completely agree with your sentiments and argument.
If Obamanation's extreme view of abortion--and how could it get more extreme than advocating and voting THREE times against the Born Alive Act--is not an "inherent evil", I'm not sure what is?
Maybe the next step is to allow even "later-term" abortions e.g., if you don't like the way your two year-old is turning out, you can have Dr. Kevorkian's relatives come and snuff the little booger out while sleeping.

I am reminded of a discussion with a former life long friend of mine a couple of years ago. It was at the time SCOTUS reversed the death penalty for a 17 year old who I think was from Missouri. The murderous little bastard kidnapped a woman from her home, tortured her, wrapped her up in duct tape and while she was still alive tossed her into the Mississippi River to die. This woman was a wife and mother. SCOTUS
stu.b.con| 5.21.09 @ 10:02AM
sorry. SCOTUS in its infinite liberal genius overturned his death penalty. At the end of a spirited discussion on the merits, my liberal *former* friend argued..." a civilized society does not execute its children" What temerity, what audacious sanctimony, I was nearly speechless at the hypocrisy of this statement from a man who had no problem with partial/late term abortion which literally, calls for a doctor to suck the life out of a human being. When I pointed out the hypocrisy, he cited the same supreme court and Roe v Wade to justify the execution of a child as a "matter of law". There can be no doubt that abortion is an abomination and those that support are morally bankrupt.
We must find a way to turn the argument back to where it belongs, there can be no "common ground" murder is murder. Acceptance of abortion reveals a society that is more than comfortable with the execution of its children, as long as that child doesn't fit the leftist agenda.
They are Godless hypocrites and poison to mankind.

The " numen absens " for me in all this the empty Catholicism of Notre Dame. Those familar with Catholic universities know this was a long time coming. Obama and his advisors cleverly decided to take down Notre Dame as a symbol of opposition to his expansion of abortion as a fundamental right.
He delivered the usual, feel - good message full of eloquence and shockingly absent of truth or reason. He had a lot of help from a the students and faculty in the unfolding of this absurdity. The students don't know their faith. The faculty don't believe their faith. The Administration now has every reason to hope that much of the abortion debate will now shift behind Church walls. I'm surprised the final ovation for the President didn't include a cheer of " We have no Pope but Obama".

The left wing is always defensive around animal protection issues, they don't want animals to be mistreated, and I agree. But these hypocrites that fiercely protects animals also fiercely fight for the massive killing of millions of human babies.
Isn't human life more valuable than animal life?
For these hypocrites, no; they will even dare to say that both lifes have the same value, or worst, that we are over populated, too crowded, so, new human life is not only of no additional value, but of a negative value.
I always ask these kind of pro-death guys:
If you really think we're over-populated, and considering that you don't believe in God, why don't you help relieving the problem and just junp from a big building or blow your brains out with a gun?

I continue to be amazed that abortion is an issue in this country at all. The very idea that anyone with a brain cell can argue that an unborn child is a mere convenience is simply beyond my comprehension. And, I don't believe that it is necessarily a matter of religion. It should be a matter of basic human intelligence and civility.
The fact that one of our major political parties has pinned its current existence on the continuation of something so barbaric is indeed a fitting testimony to that party.
Death of a Party| 5.21.09 @ 11:40AM
Obama is no different from any other Politican, they all tell lies to win support. It's time people start to state what they want and hold these people accountable, for their actions.
George Bush was the most evil since Adolph Hitler. The Republican Party has a problem because of George W Bush. Slagging Obama off can't help the party. There is too many things out there that Bush was responsible for.
George Bush has tainted the Republican Party, and how the rest of America view this man, and people are afraid to spend their lives fighting in Countries around the world in endless killings of Black and Brown people for Oil. The Dems history of supporting racism and in keeping black people under their oppressive thumbs seems to only change in tactics, but not in end results.
The KKK, at it's peak, was 90% white protestant democrats. The KKK was founded by five Democrats.
The separation of church and state as we know it today was promoted by the KKK and was a required oath of all of its members. Hugo Black was a KKK member turned supreme court judge and introduced American law to the false use of the separation of church and state concept.
LBJ in his own biography was noted saying that blacks had become uppity but that they were gaining political strength as a race and that the Democrats should toss them a bone. Not enough to make a difference but enough to keep them quiet.
The above LBJ thought process remains with Democrat leaders today. Their hope is to keep blacks quiet (meaning voting for Dems) by tossing them useless bones. Little flavor, but nothing of real sustenance.
Today, according to statistics, blacks are losing ground in every major aspect of life, yet they continue to vote for Dem policies.
Those blacks that get out of this rut are more often than not gravitating towards the Republican party. But Dems have a long history of successfully deceiving blacks and the poor in general and so it will be a long and difficult haul to set things straight.
Jesus stated that the poor will be with us always. Maybe he was onto something.

"Death Of A Party" is a moron. That is obvious. But what is also obvious is that many US voters are as big of misinformed backwards thinking morons. What to do about them? Not an easy answer. As the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink.
Kinley Ardal| 5.21.09 @ 2:04PM
To the poster who said that George Bush was the most evil man since Hitler -
You are a rambling fool, and clearly know nothing at all about the horrors Hitler inflicted on the world. The comparison is so utterly without root, devoid of logic, distilled hysteria and hype in their purest form. To throw around the word "Hitler" like it is some kind of meaningful anecdote in relation to George Bush is to completely dimiss and demean the atrocities of World War Two, and you should (but likely won't) be ashamed that you could imagine such a thing.
On topic, I find the article to be excellent and spot-on, in particular paragraph 7 through 9. There can be no 'engagement' or 'civility' in a discussion where one side believes it's no big deal, and the other side believes it is slaughter of human beings at its worst.
No Leftist I know, including the above poster, would have the audacity to actually consider the other side's view on this. Only in the twisted mind of liberalism may one find it a no-brainer to slay our children at convenience, then spare our mortal enemies from even the most restrained of "enhanced" interrogation.
kmichaels| 5.21.09 @ 2:09PM
Kinley Ardal. Well spoken. Liberalism has been an age old disease. Both the old and new testament make mention of the type of diseased person that "calls night day and day night. That put evil for good and good for evil." The scriptures go on to say "woe unto" such people. Yes, it is odd that we are faced with such sickness that allows people to get key issues so arse backwards. But it not only exists today but has done so for thousands of years (minimum). We have a real battle on our hand, not to try to prevent such idiots from being born but at least to prevent the liberal fool from gaining political power over others. As the saying goes, when the wicked rule, the righteous mourn. We are in a period of time when childish self serving fools (Obama on down) are in power. Let us work towards removing such backwards thinking evil fools from power at all levels of government.

DavidMathews takes hypocisy to the sublime when he wrote: "The Republican party is also a lily-white racist party, too, as demonstrated by Marc Jeric above. Too bad that the whites are becoming a minority and the white racists are already an extremist minority. "
So David celebrates ending racism by getting rid of whites and defining racism as a problem only when practiced by whites against non-whites? Well, duh.
Next, the good ol' "extremist" label which, like bigot and racist, is defined as people who disagree with you. National healthcare is an extremist position and "change" certainly is extremist, but that's ok because since they're "good" then they're not extremist like bashing whites isn't racism because it's "good".
In the topsy-turvy liberal world, EVERYONE ones says or does is good since they're "good" people with good intentions.

A popular American self-deception concerning abortion is that both sides of the issue have valid points. But it's really more the case of mourners at a wake showing respect for the dead. Whether you liked the deceased or hated his or her guts, you're expected to be solemn, respect the dead although the dead won't realize it, comfort the surviving family, demonstrate sympathy - we have a strictly defined code of conduct for our burial rituals.
But for secular thinkers, abortion also represents the pending death of our society and its moral code - they're reluctant mourners at their own funerals. Under evolution, "survival of the fittest" or differential survival is based solely on which group produces the most offspring. The emerging younger species replaces the older species through the simple process of having more surviving offspring which carry their genes.
A society that eliminates its potential children lacks a basic evolutionary fitness. And the first world nations appear to have an unconcious - and widespread - death wish from an evolutionary viewpoint. Those nations and pockets of first world societies with high birth rates may lack material wealth but they have a clear evolutionary advantage in their values, a selective advantage that will triumph over time and render the counter arguments moot. Nature has an inexorable mechanism for eliminating the unfit.
But evolution is a slow process as we're told, so we may as well have polite discussions while waiting for our society's gradual extinction.
Louis Jenkins| 5.21.09 @ 3:18PM
A criminal gets a chance to appeal a guilty verdict in court. A fetus gets no chance for appeal once the death verdict is made. A criminal has a chance to get away from the scene of his crime. A fetus has nowhere to run or hide. A criminal can make a choice whether to commit the crime or not. A fetus just happens to be the result of two adults copulating without a thought for the consequences. A criminal has a right to a death without pain and suffering. A fetus gets pain and suffering for the mere crime of being conceived. Criminals have every benefit of the law. A fetus is a non-entity. A criminal, if executed, gets a funeral and a burial blot. An aborted fetus gets thrown out with the medical waste. A society that shows distain for the innocent unborn is not a society.

As for the abortion issue each circumstance is different with diferent issues involved and no blanket mandate will heal the wound. When we understand what man has and is surrounded by then we will understand why some solutions seem more in line with christian thinking than others and gift each circumstance the hope to come from a place of death into life.

When I was 19, I went into a Planned Parenthood Center because I was informed I could get free birth control pills there and save the $3.50 per month price from a pharmacy. I entered, told them what I was there for, got the information and retreated. There were all kinds of phamphlets about women "taking control" and what to do in case of an unwanted pregnancy. I was young and naieve and didn't realize the "taking control" gambit was "aborting." After I arrived home, I realized that I felt "dirty" and was out of sorts. I never went back. The $3.50 I would have saved wasn't worth the "dirty" feeling.
I saw several women in a public television special about the 60's and 70's. One woman stated she had had eight abortions; another said she had had five and others one, two or three. The one that had eight actually admitted to using abortion as a "form of birth control." She liked the freedom it gave her (to control her own body). I once again got that "dirty" feeling and turned off the T.V.
Once can couch the argument of "choice" in lots of flowery language but the outcome is still "dirty" to this day. The outcome is tragic, but I say the women who practice abortion because they feel they are in "control" are really in control of nothing but "dirty evilness."
I, personally, have no use for any human being that can't distinquish a moral value from a "right to control outcomes" that results in the dehumanizing of all of us. I'm afraid to say that a lot of these women have become and will become our leaders. It will truly be a sad day for America when the women who think they are controlling their own destiny start controlling others through governmental policies. It's been bad enough that the SCOTUS gave women the supposed "control right" but denied others the "right" to not live in a society that debases the very beginning of humanity.
Obama could have very easily given thousands of young women hope and change by just stating that they is always another choice for them and this Nation will support that other choice through government policies that will encourage the survival of its baby citizens. The Nation already does this through AFDC, welfare, educational benefits and on and on and on. Maybe those women need to hear it to believe it since most of them they are young and naieve just like the 19 year old was 35 years ago.
I passed the Planned Parenthood Center the other day again. I hadn't gone by it for 35 years or so and I still felt "dirty" and sad. Sad for all of the young women who have been misled into believing that killing your child will give you "control." It can only give you grief in the long run. Maybe not in the short run, but the sub-conscience of the brain has a way of keeping moral decisions and the consequences around for a long, long time.

Robert Rosencrans & Kmichaels.
It is interesting, the hear about the KKK, and who formed what Party, the fact is regardless of this fact, Blacks was not allowed to vote till well after 1963. The Nazi State of Israel was founded in 1948. Black people were still having their Church Bombed by the now named Christian Fundamentalist, who promote racial hatred against the Palestinians, like the same group supported Racial Hatred against the people of South Africa. They also supported racial hatred in Now called Zimbabwe, plus support of Racial Hatred in their own country, and many still do.
Over 53 Million people were killed transporting Black Slaves from Africa to build up America, most of the people who profited from this ill fated crimes were Jewish, trying to make a fast buck. As they do today on the Stock exchange and on Wall Street. Unfortunately many of these criminals are now Christian Fundamentalist, and if they discovered there was a haven and Blacks would rule in heaven would rather live in hell, which is where most of us are now. History is not taught in School in America for obvious reason, because there would be a conflict of 53 Million Blacks murdered for profit to the Jews against 6 Million who is aledged to have died in Germany.
They would also have to explain why all the German Scientist was taken in by American to car on with the Nazi plan to control the world. And many were members of the KKK from both Political Divide. Many Nazi or KKK control not only the political system but the Legal system, to promote discrimination, still goes on to this day, and most of these evil criminals are in the Republican Party, and they are not ashamed of it.
The idea, that one can speak about Black people having abortion, its is their right, their choice. If white racist were lynching them most white Christian Fundamentalist would not have a problem with that. The truth is white Christian Fundamentalist are having abortions too, but they keep it quiet.

2.5 The Peace Treaties with Egypt and Jordan
According to the peace treaty with Egypt (following the Camp David Accords), Egypt regained the Sinai Peninsula and an international border was fixed by consent between Israel and Egypt. The peace treaty with Jordan fixed the international border between them. Israel does not have an international border with Syria and Lebanon. Such a border can only be fixed by agreement between Israel and these countries.
2.6 The Status of Yesha in Public International Law
Judea, Samaria and Gaza were all part of the Palestine Mandate territory until 1948. During Israel’s War of Independence, Egypt occupied (unlawfully, under public international law) the Gaza Strip, and Jordan occupied (likewise, unlawfully) Judea and Samaria (the “West Bank”).9 Egypt has never claimed title to the Gaza Strip. By contrast, Jordan purported to annex Judea and Samaria in 1950. The annexation was not recognized under public international law, Britain (with a reservation regarding East Jerusalem) and Pakistan being the only states to recognize the annexation, which was also vehemently opposed by the Arab states.10
In 1967, following the Six Day War, the territories of Yesha, which had been originally designated for the Jewish national home according to the Mandate document, returned to Israeli rule. Leading international law scholars opined that Israel was in lawful control of Yesha, that no other state could show better title than Israel to Yesha’s territory, and that this territory was not “occupied” in the sense of the Geneva Convention, since those rules are designed to assure the reversion of the former legitimate sovereign which, in this case, does not exist.11 Israel was therefore entitled to declare that it has exercised its sovereign powers over Yesha. In practice, however, for political and other reasons, Israel exercised its sovereign powers only with respect to East Jerusalem. Regarding the rest of Yesha, Israel’s official position was that Israel was entitled to annex them, and that, since they had not been taken from a legitimate sovereign, the Fourth Geneva Convention and the Hague Regulations 1899/1907 were inapplicable there. Nonetheless, Israel chose voluntarily to observe and abide by the humanitarian provisions included therein.12
In 1988, King Hussein declared that Jordan severed its legal and administrative ties with the West Bank.
In 1993, the PLO signed the Declaration of Principles which states that Resolutions 242 and 338 should provide the basis for negotiations with Israel. In 1994, in accordance with the agreements made with the PLO, Israel handed over to the Palestinian Authority extensive powers – regarding both civil and security affairs – over a substantial part of Yesha in which the Arab population was concentrated.
Resolutions 242 and 338 do not mandate the establishment of a separate Arab state in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip. Neither have the interim agreements entered between Israel and the PLO determined the question of sovereignty over these territories.
3. The Jewish Settlements in Yesha Under Public International Law
3.1 The Rules of Public International Law Regarding “Occupied Territories”
Even if Israel had been an occupant in Yesha, Jewish settlement there would have been permitted under public international law. Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Protocol only

THE STATE OF ISRAEL IS NOT A FULFILLMENT OF BIBLICAL PROPHECY
JEWS & EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS claim that the modern State of Israel is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. This claim evinces a shallow and errant understanding of the Bible.
The meek shall inherit the earth said Jesus Christ to His disciples. But where do we see any hint of “meekness” in the conduct of the Jews? Jesus also said, Blessed are the peacemakers. But the Jews are warmongers not peace makers. The world has experienced nothing but turmoil since the creation of Israel in 1948.

John Harlow – Times Online May 24, 2009
SOME of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population and speed up improvements in health and education.
The philanthropists who attended a summit convened on the initiative of Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder, discussed joining forces to overcome political and religious obstacles to change.
Described as the Good Club by one insider it included David Rockefeller Jr, the patriarch of America’s wealthiest dynasty, Warren Buffett and George Soros, the financiers, Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York, and the media moguls Ted Turner and Oprah Winfrey.
These members, along with Gates, have given away more than £45 billion since 1996 to causes ranging from health programmes in developing countries to ghetto schools nearer to home.
They gathered at the home of Sir Paul Nurse, a British Nobel prize biochemist and president of the private Rockefeller University, in Manhattan on May 5. The informal afternoon session was so discreet that some of the billionaires’ aides were told they were at “security briefings”.
Stacy Palmer, editor of the Chronicle of Philanthropy, said the summit was unprecedented. “We only learnt about it afterwards, by accident. Normally these people are happy to talk good causes, but this is different – maybe because they don’t want to be seen as a global cabal,” he said.
Some details were emerging this weekend, however. The billionaires were each given 15 minutes to present their favourite cause. Over dinner they discussed how they might settle on an “umbrella cause” that could harness their interests.
The issues debated included reforming the supervision of overseas aid spending to setting up rural schools and water systems in developing countries. Taking their cue from Gates they agreed that overpopulation was a priority.
This could result in a challenge to some Third World politicians who believe contraception and female education weaken traditional values.
Gates, 53, who is giving away most of his fortune, argued that healthier families, freed from malaria and extreme poverty, would change their habits and have fewer children within half a generation.
At a conference in Long Beach, California, last February, he had made similar points. “Official projections say the world’s population will peak at 9.3 billion [up from 6.6 billion today] but with charitable initiatives, such as better reproductive healthcare, we think we can cap that at 8.3 billion,” Gates said then.
Patricia Stonesifer, former chief executive of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which gives more than £2 billion a year to good causes, attended the Rockefeller summit. She said the billionaires met to “discuss how to increase giving” and they intended to “continue the dialogue” over the next few months.
Another guest said there was “nothing as crude as a vote” but a consensus emerged that they would back a strategy in which population growth would be tackled as a potentially disastrous environmental, social and industrial threat.
“This is something so nightmarish that everyone in this group agreed it needs big-brain answers,” said the guest. “They need to be independent of government agencies, which are unable to head off the disaster we all see looming.”
Why all the secrecy? “They wanted to speak rich to rich without worrying anything they said would end up in the newspapers, painting them as an alternative world government,” he said

My Farewell to Israel, Thorn of the Middle East
Before Israel became a state in 1948, Jews worldwide were filled with Zionist propaganda that Israel would be a homeland for all Jews, a refuge for persecuted Jews, a democratic country and the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
I am an Ashkenazi Jew who spent the first 25 years of my life in the United States, the country that has given ALL Jews freedom and the opportunity to prosper -- and prosper we Jews did, to the point that one portion of the Jews (the Zionists) have gained a position of political and economic dominance in the U.S.
To fully understand the story I am about to tell, it is important that you understand what Zionism really is. Zionist propaganda has led the American people to believe that Zionism and Judaism are one and the same and that they are religious in nature. This is a blatant lie.
Judaism is a religion; but Zionism is a political movement started mainly by East European (Ashkenazi) Jews who for centuries have been the main force behind communism/socialism. The ultimate goal of the Zionists is one ONE-WORLD GOVERNMENT UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE ZIONISTS AND THE ZIONIST-ORIENTED JEWISH INTERNATIONAL BANKERS.
Communism/socialism are merely tools to help them accomplish their goal.
I was a Victim of Zionist Propaganda
After the 1967 War, we Jews were filled with pride that 'our homeland' had become so powerful and successful. Then too, we had been filled with the false propaganda that Jews in America were being persecuted. So, between 1967 and 1970 approximately 50.000 American Jews fell for this Zionist propaganda and migrated to Israel. I was one of those suckers.
After being filled with all this false Zionist propaganda, I felt that I would have a better chance to succeed in the new Jewish state. There was an added enticement, the spirit and challenge of pioneering and of helping my fellow Jews.
Dual Citizenship
I had no emotional conflict with leaving the U.S. because I was still able to keep my U.S. citizenship and could return to the U.S. at any time. You see, Jews are allowed to be citizens of both Israel and some countries -- U.S. is one of those countries. The U.S. government allows a Jew to be a citizen of both U.S. and Israel.
German Americans cannot be citizens of both the U.S. and Germany. Italian Americans cannot be citizen of both U.S. and Italy. Egyptian-Americans cannot be citizens of both the U.S. and Egypt . . . BUT, a Jewish American can be a citizen of both Israel and the U.S. THIS IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE POWER THE ZIONIST JEWS HAVE OVER THE U.S. GOVERNMENT.
I Arrive in the "Jewish Paradise"
Before leaving for Israel, a Jewish friend of mine had made arrangements for me to stay a few days with her sister, Fawzia Daboul and her spinster aunt. After arriving at Lod Airport just outside of Tel Aviv, I took a bus to the home of Miss Daboul and her aunt. When I saw Fawzia, it was love at first sight. I started calling her 'Ziva' her Hebrew name. Ziva is a Sephardic Jewess from Iraq who, like myself, had fallen for the Zionist propaganda and had migrated to Israel. She was employed as a hairdresser.
The Kibbutz
After visiting with Ziva and her her aunt for two days, I left to spend 6 months at Kibbutz 'Ein Hashofet' one of the well over 150 such communes then operating in Israel. Since then, many more have been started -- especially in the territory taken from the Palestinian Arabs. A kibbutz is a farming and sometimes industrial venture. It is important to explain that Israel's Kibbutz system is a Marxist idea brought to Israel by the Ashkenazi Jews who migrated to Israel mainly from Poland and Russia. These Jews are part of that bunch of Jews know as the BOLSHEVIKS. Before 1917, they were the force that laid the foundation for the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 in Russia and the start of Communism.
Again, I want to point out, even emphasize, that it is some of that same bunch of Ashkenazi, Communist/Socialist Jews who migrated to Israel, gained control of the Zionist Movement and have dominated the government of Israel since its beginning in 1948.
Now, back to the kibbutz -
Prior to 1967, most of the work on the Kibbutz was done by Jews. But, since the 1967 War, the work has been done by Arabs who are paid a very low wage, and by volunteers from overseas. Members of the Kibbutz (all Jews) share all things equally. They receive clothing, food and a small allowance. All profits from the venture go into the Kibbutz account for future use. EACH OF THESE KIBBUTZ ARE AFFILIATED WITH ONE OF ISRAEL'S MARXIST PARTIES ranging from SOCIALIST TO HARD-CORE COMMUNIST.
The Kibbutz I was in was not hardcore communist. Yet, I was happy to leave after 4 months -- two months earlier than originally planned. During the time I was working in the Kibbutz, I carried on courtship with Ziva. She was one of the reasons I left the Kibbutz after only 4 months -- we were to be married.
Our Marriage Created Problems
The marriage ceremony was held in the Sephardic Synagogue. The ceremony was simple but beautiful. Ziva and I were happy, but our marriage created serious problems. You see, Ziva is a Sephardic Jewess and I am an Ashkenazi Jew. For an Ashkenazi Jew to marry a Sephardic Jew is frowned upon in Israel by the ruling Ashkenazim. To understand why this is the case, you must realize the difference between the Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews.
The powerful Zionist propaganda machine has led the American people to believe that a Jew is a Jew -- one race of people and that they are "God's Chosen People". I will deal with the "God's Chosen People" LIE later. First, it is important for you to understand that Jews are NOT one race of people.
There are two distinct groups of Jews in the world and they come from two different areas of the world -- the Sephardic Jews from the Middle East and North Africa and the Ashkenazi Jews come from Eastern Europe. The Sephardic is the oldest group and it is they, if any, who are the Jews described in the Bible because they lived in the area described in the Bible. They are blood relatives to the Arabs -- the only difference between them is the religion.
The Ashkenazi Jews, who now compromise 90% of the Jews in the world, had a rather strange beginning. According to historians, many of them Jewish, the Ashkenazi Jews came into existence about 1200 years ago. It happened this way:
At the eastern edge of Europe, there lived a tribe of people know as the Khazars. About the year 740 A.D., the Khazar king and his court decided they should adopt a religion for their people. So, representatives of the three major religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism, were invited to present their religious doctrines. The Khazars chose Judaism, but it wasn't for religious reasons. If the Khazars had chosen Islam, they would have angered the strong Christian world. If they had chosen Christianity, they would have angered the strong Islamic world. So, they played it safe -- they chose Judaism. It wasn't for religious reasons the Khazars chose Judaism; it was for political reasons.
Sometime during the 13th century, the Khazars were driven from their land and they migrated westward with most of them settling in Poland and Russia. These Khazars are now known as Ashkenazi Jews. Because these Khazar Ashkenazi Jews merely chose Judaism, they are not really Jews -- at least not blood Jews.
Throughout their history, these Polish and Russian Ashkenazi Jews practiced communism/socialism and worked to have their ideas implemented in these countries.
By the late 1800s significant numbers of these communist/socialist Jews were found in Germany, the Balkans and eventually all over Europe. Because of their interference in the social and governmental affairs of Russia, they became the target of persecution by the Czars. Because of this, migration of these communist/socialist oriented Jews began. Some went to Palestine; some to Central and South America; and a large number of them came to the U.S.

Brilliant article. Here are my thoughts on this very subject:
An explanation exists. I was recently plagued by the fact that many liberals, in addition to torturing their namesake all the time, did so unforgivably when they defended President Obama's steadfast opposition to Illinois' version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. For those not familiar with this piece of legislation, it simply protected babies who were born alive -- living and breathing independently -- despite the "mother's" unsuccessful attempt to abort them. How this champions the "liberty" of the weakest among us -- as a liberal's namesake demands they do -- is beyond my comprehension. But amidst my profound disappointment with my fellow countrymen, I mentally stumbled onto what I believe to be, even if not a justification, at least an explanation for what has transpired.
It has become increasingly apparent that many if not most liberals are more susceptible to abandoning their values when they must do so to support their favorite politician. This is unfortunately becoming common no matter how immoral and illogical that politician's positions may be. However, at least from my vantage point, we rarely find a conservative defending a right-leaning politician with arguments that not only set a double standard but torture both logic and fact in the most extreme ways.
Take the case at hand. Some argued, including President Obama, that he only led the opposition to this Act because the legislation had no provision protecting the life of the mother. How does this pass for honest and reasoned thought? Correct me if I am mistaken, but have we come to a point that we no longer have enough healthcare professionals to care for both a baby on one table and the mother on another? Must we doom these babies to death, screaming for their life while neglected in a waste closet? Is saving both no longer an option? I doubt this to be the case.
So why do many liberals assault and abandon this basic value of human life? The answer, I think, can be gleaned from the place politics frequently enjoys in the life of a liberal, as opposed to a conservative. For the latter, morality and values are not just political statements but religious ones as well. In fact, for most conservatives, religion has a far greater place in their life than politics could ever hope to occupy. Therefore, even if a beloved politician fails to live up to a conservative’s moral standard, we have no real incentive to keep him around. And if the moral violation is serious enough, the source of a conservative’s morality, religion, in fact demands that we discard that politician for a better model.
Liberals do not enjoy this luxury. Many liberals rely on politics to provide them with meaning that they would otherwise be without. In far too many ways, politics has effectively become their religion. That being the case, the party comes first and once-held moral convictions are increasingly left to the wayside. If their politician loses, therefore, they lack a similarly deep religious belief on which to fall back. So they defend without fact-finding; they defend without logical thought; they defend without their soul. And countless babies have died as a result.

I'm going to state right now that I'm not for abortion as a contraceptive. However, as a medical procedure to save the life of a mother who will certainly die if she carries a child full-term, or done so that a woman will not forcibly have to carry the child of someone who raped her, then I'll admit I'm a little lax about it.
For instance: If a woman is in her first trimester, and is diagnosed with an inoperable cancer in her brain, but learns it can be treated with chemotherapy and radiation, she would have to abort her child in order to live. If she carried the child and underwent treatment, the unborn would die, anyway. If abortion was COMPLETELY illegal, she may feel the guilt and would rather not undergo treatment. Why allow both lives to end prematurely? It's a terrible scenario, but not unrealistic.
But young women having abortions because 'their boyfriends/sex-pals just didn't feel like wearing a condom' is completely unreasonable. In the 1950's, that never would have been considered 'okay'. Back then, if you screwed around without exerting caution, you paid the price. People want to live without consequences nowadays, and that's not how life works.
If I had ever conceived, due to a pre-existing condition and an inherited gestational disease, I would have faced death. So I took every precaution I could, and this eventually led to a tubal ligation, just to make sure I would not have to face such a horrible decision.
There are too many children out there that are unwanted, and I would rather adopt one of those children (no matter the age) instead of leave them to foster care or parents who abuse them. If you don't want a child, you either don't mess around or you put the child up for adoption. End of story. There is no excuse for aborting a child with no voice that was a result of carelessness and being provocative. Though I admit that I believe a life-and-death (or sexual assault) situation is completely different.

Dina,
Abortion is the INTENTIONAL killing of an unborn baby (fetus in Latin). If a woman gets chemo while she's pregnant, she is not intentionally killing her baby. She is getting treatment for her cancer. If the baby dies, it is not the same as executing an abortion.
It all depends on the intent. But there is never a medical reason to intentionally kill (abort) an unborn baby, according to several physicians I've heard.
Remember, there are always two individual lives involved when it comes to an abortion. Three, when the father is involved and doesn't run away. One is completely innocent. In cases of rape and incest, why should the baby suffer for the crimes of another?
Abortion is always intrinsically evil. It is never morally permissible under any circumstances.
You might not approve of abortion being used as birth control, but it has been since Roe v. Wade was decided back in 1973. And thanks to everyone who voted for B.O., this won't change anytime in the next 4 years.

"Why should Russia have achieved this victory over America which, truly religious or not, at least tries to believe in God "
Tries? What in the hell is this?
That was a quote from your article. You wrote that.
We believe in God. He does what we cannot do. Makes sense of his laws which , I can only suppose, only he can really get. I can kill my wife with a rock but I cant eat shellfish?
But where does this jew get off, questioning my godliness? Oh man, that cheeses me off.

"But how can we be expected to apply this to abortion? The minute one accepts there are two points of view and people of good will can arrive at one or the other after fair deliberation, we are already debased as a culture. The point is simple and not open to debate: "
To live in a democracy, you have to cope with it whether you accept it or not.
The proposal here is that, since we never going to agree on whether abortion is permissible or not, but we both agree that fewer abortions is better, can we work together to that end?
The logical implication is that if you refuse to work with your opponents to reduce abortion incidence, then saving life is not your real priority.
