Last night, an act of Islamic terrorism was thwarted when the FBI arrested 19-year-old Mohamed Osman Mohamud when he attempted to set off a bomb in Portland, Oregon.
The young jihadist had planned to detonate a car bomb during the lighting of a Christmas tree in Portland’s downtown area. The FBI had been monitoring Mohamud for more than six months by convincing him they were fellow operatives.
Yet somehow the New York Times managed to report this story without mentioning Mohamud is a Muslim. Their headline?
