Capitol Hill is a place of great tragedy and sadness these days. Tears cannot suffice to reflect the horror seen in office after office. Democratic congressional staffers are losing their jobs.
“For some people, it’s the first time they’ve been out in the job market for a long time, and there’s obviously some anxiety that goes along with that,” said Jennifer Crider, the deputy executive director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, whose office has fielded “a lot of inquiries” from Democrats looking for work.
It makes you wonder if there is a God. How could so much sadness occur in our lifetime?
