The Kings of Hockey

Congratulations to the Los Angeles Kings who have won their second Stanley Cup in three years. They defeated the New York Rangers 3-2 on a goal by Alec Martinez in double OT.

Hopefully next year a Canadian team wins the Cup (aside from the Bruins, of course). No team north of the border has won the Stanley Cup since the Montreal Canadiens did so in 1993, when they beat none other than the Los Angeles Kings.
