Democratic Party strategist Hilary Rosen has apologized to Ann Romney. Well, sort of.
Of course, last night during an appearance CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, Rosen said Mrs. Romney had “never worked a day in her life.”
Today, Rosen said, “I apologize to Ann Romney and anyone else who was offended. Let’s declare peace in this phony war and go back to focus on the substance.”
So what is this substance of which she speaks? Oh, that would be the “Republican War on Women” as demonstrated by MoveOn.org, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) or this op-ed piece by MSNBC’s Krystal Ball. Well, I’m looking into the future and I don’t think there will be any end to this phony war. And yes, it is a phony war. But they fired the first shots. They may think twice before firing at Ann Romney. But make no mistake. They are relocking and reloading.
