Romney Being Taxed by Tax Question
by

Mitt Romney is still struggling with the tax question.

While he said he would release his 2011 tax return in April and that he might or might not release his tax returns from previous years. From there he babbled and then talk about President Obama playing golf and the Keystone Pipeline. To his credit, John King kept Romney focused on the topic at hand. King noted that Romney’s father released twelve years worth of tax returns during his Presidential bid in 1968 because “one year may be a fluke.” King asked Romney if he would follow his father’s example. Romney replied, “Maybe.”

That didn’t go over well with the audience.

Questions like these should be answered directly and with brevity. All Romney needs to say,”I’ll release my tax returns in April.” Why he can’t do that is beyond me? It might cost him the nomination.
