The latest Rassmussen poll has Rand Paul ahead in the race for U.S. Senate in Kentucky. Paul, the Republican nominee, leads Democrat Jack Conway 49 percent to 41 percent. This has been fairly consistent with past Rasmussen results, showing the race competitive but with Paul ahead. A late June Public Policy Polling survey (pdf) had the race tied at 43 percent apiece.
