The New Hampshire GOP Debate is getting better now that the candidates are asking each other questions. It’s a better approach to take when the candidates are seated around a table.
What is interesting about the questions isn’t so much their substance but to whom each of the candidates directed their questions.
Four of the candidates (Cain, Gingrich, Huntsman and Perry) directed their questions to GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney.
Two of the candidates (Paul and Santorum) directed their question to the surging Herman Cain.
Michele Bachmann directed her question to Rick Perry, the man to whom she lost much of her support following his entry in the GOP race.
For his part, Romney directed his question to Bachmann asking her to elaborate on her platform as if he was vetting her for the V-P slot. Romney might want to win the nomination before he thinks about a number two.
