It is curious to see some of the commentary concerning my post earlier today regarding Rick Perry, Ron Paul and the Reagan Revolution.
To sum it up, Paul’s defenders make the case that he was right to say that the Reagan Revolution failed because the results didn’t match up to the rhetoric. Fine. It’s a reasonable argument to make.
But if Paul honestly believes that the Reagan Revolution ended in failure then why would he authorize a message which explicitly states that Rick Perry was trying to “undo the Reagan Revolution”? Paul descends the depths of disingenuousness for criticizing Perry for trying to undo something that he himself believed was a complete and utter failure.
