Who but Michael Moore could go to an impoverished communist dictatorship from which people desperately flee and come away talking about the wonders of the health care system which only the local elite can enjoy?  Kind of defines the idea of missing the forest for one small sapling.

Now he’s whining because America’s entire net worth is not being turned over to government.  Reports David Freddoso over at the Washington Examiner:

“The nation is not broke, my friends. Wisconsin is not broke. … The truth is, there’s lots of money to go around. Lots. It’s just that those in charge have diverted that wealth into a deep well that sits on their well-guarded estates.”

Obviously, Moore doesn’t think wealth is created.  It just kind of exists, stolen by nefarious right-wingers and hidden away in wells and vaults behind the walls of gated communities.  The idea that the wealth is generated because someone turned an idea into a product or service which other people wanted apparently is foreign to him.

Which brings up the question:  what does Moore think about the money he is “in charge” of?  Why is it okay for him to divert money and guard it on his estate?

I think it is time for higher taxes. On rich lefties who believe the rest of us pay too little in taxes.  Not just higher taxes.  Confiscatory taxes.  Let’s take it all.  After all, if Michael Moore really believes in social justice, how could he complain?
