Get a load of this video clip of John McCain excitedly cheering a three-run home run by Paul Goldschmidt during the Arizona Diamondbacks 18-7 shellacking of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night.

You might recall last November that McCain got mad when an Arizona sportswriter didn’t give Goldschmidt a first place vote for NL MVP (which went to Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen). 

 
Now if only McCain had shown this much passion against Barack Obama in 2008.
