Oh my goodness!!!
I must confess that I have never watched Kate Plus Eight (nor for that matter its predecessor Jon & Kate Plus Eight.)
Now having watched the latest episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska I can see why Kate Gosselin is so reviled.
The Palins invited the Gosselins camping. A splendid time was had by all – except for Kate. While the Gosselin children enjoyed themselves helping the Palins build a campfire, fishing for salmon and eating s’mores, Kate kept to herself under a canopy complaining about the cold and rain and how people could choose to be “intentionally homeless.”
Unable to grasp both the theoretical and practical concepts of camping, Kate eventually had more than she could take and announced that she and the kids were leaving. The Gosselin children, however, were quite content to stay. However, Kate put her foot down and told one of her children, “you’re now a Palin, not a Gosselin.”
Talk about putting your own needs ahead of those of your children.
But I’m glad Palin had Gosselin on her show because Kate Gosselin makes Sarah Palin look good.
Now, if only Gosselin had joined the Palins in Haiti.
