Huntsman: GOP’s Nowhere Man
by

I’m surprised Jeff Lord invoked The Monkees in response to Jon Huntsman’s now cancelled “Ticket to Ride” to South Carolina when there are plenty of Beatles references at his disposal.

After all, Huntsman bought a “Ticket to Ride” to South Carolina because he thought “Tomorrow Never Knows.” Indeed, the biggest newspaper in South Carolina thought Huntsman had “Something” to offer and could help the nation “Come Together.” But campaigning proved to be a “Hard Day’s Night” “Eight Days a Week”and his father wasn’t forthcoming with the “Help” he needed. At that point, Huntsman had to recognize he had no constituency in the Republican Party, was the “Nowhere Man” of the GOP race. So he will soon tell the world “I’m a Loser” and throw his support to Romney.

And with that I shall “Let it Be” and let Ringo tell him “Good Night.”
