A funny thing happened on the way to Brad Ellsworth’s coronation as the Democratic nominee to replace Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.): rank-and-file Indiana voters are none too happy they won’t have a voice in the process. And Congressman Baron Hill (D-Ind.) is still considering a run, though he’ll have to appeal to the same party bosess.
