Facebook Targets Michelle Malkin: Gives Pass to Antifa

And there they go again.

Facebook has censored Michelle Malkin — for protesting censorship. Meanwhile, as noted in this space just last week, Facebook has no problem with the pro-fascist and deliberately misnamed “Antifa” — the pro-fascist group that pretends its use of hooded faces and clubs is somehow “anti-fascist.” Here is the link to AntifaUSA and their masked faces as they appear on Facebook. Take a good look at Antifa’s favored appearance of black ski masks and recall another leftist group — this one that historians describe as the “terrorist arm of the Democratic Party.”

Ahh, the more things change the more they stay the same — from the Klan to Antifa the far-left specializes in hiding its faces to enable its acts of hatred and violence.

And what specifically was Michelle Malkin censored for? Here, courtesy of Breitbart, is the tweet that got her censored:

These are two of my friends, Laura Loomer and Gavin McInnes. They are banned from Facebook and Instagram for exercising their free speech — while violent jihad groups are allowed on these platforms to spread their murderous poison. I spoke out passionately about de-platforming at CPAC and have done what I can to use my voice to speak for the voiceless. Laura and Gavin are suing the radical forces (SPLC and CAIR) behind the insidious agenda to criminalize political dissent. I have donated to their causes and hope you will too (DefendGavin.comand LauraLoomer.us). I do not know how much longer it will be before I am next. Anyone and everyone who refuses to capitulate to the open-borders, sharia-enforcing social justice agenda is “DANGEROUS.”

Notice this sentence in her post: “I do not know how much longer it will be before I am next.” And like clockwork, it wasn’t long before Michelle was informed by Facebook as follows:

We Removed Something You Posted

It looks like something you posted doesn’t follow our Community Standards.”

Recall this was the same totalitarian mumbo-jumbo that was dished out to Diamond and Silk a while back when the two prominent Trump supporters — Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson — were banned by Facebook. As reported here in the Daily Caller at the time, the two were told:

The Policy team has came to the conclusion that your content and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community. This decision is final and it is not appeal-able in anyway.

To which Diamond and Silk succinctly replied, beginning with this:

What is unsafe about two Blk-women supporting the @POTUS@realDonaldTrump?

The real answer, of course, is that any African-American who supports President Trump is an African-American who cannot be controlled by the plantation-style mentality that grips the American Left. And therefore Diamond and Silk, two wonderful people who are both brilliant and funny with their thoroughly G-rated routines, are decidedly “unsafe” to the far-Left “community” where pro-totalitarian groups like Antifa are allowed to peddle their pro-fascist agenda.

Now the Facebook Fascists have come for Michelle Malkin. And, doubtless no coincidence. Michelle rejects identity politics out of hand, proudly calling herself an “American.” Amen and Amen! But in the Jim Crow-style of the Left she is what the Left loves to call a “woman of color.” Thus her posting standing up for free speech and opposing censorship has to be silenced. Because, like Diamond and Silk, Michelle Malkin is a threat to the totalitarian mind-set of Facebook rulers who have appointed themselves the Gods of who gets to say what and where.

Again, to be clear: Let Antifa do its Facebook thing. Fascism is answered by more free speech. Censorship is decidedly the opposite of free speech.

Michelle appeared Wednesday evening on Laura Ingraham’s Ingraham Angle, itself a bastion of support for free speech. In her introduction Laura noted: “Facebook is imposing its own Silicon Valley brand of political correctness on its own social media platform.” Exactly.

“Are you now on the verge of being banned on Facebook?” Laura asked.

Michelle responded:

Yeah, I think a lot of us are. And I think there’s a commonality among many of the people who are being targeted on Facebook and on Twitter, on social media…. I do believe, Laura, this is an existential battle.… I’m saying this because we need a vibrant marketplace of ideas. We need an informed citizenry for a constitutional republic to function. And when Facebook and Silicon Valley Overlords have their thumbs on the scale of free speech that is a concern for all of us.

Michelle has over two million followers, and she has no doubt that she is targeted because those who support President Trump are being marginalized in the run-up to the 2020 election. She has spoken and written extensively about the totalitarian mindset of Silicon Valley, as here. Now, the mere mention of two banned names on her post — and presto, she is censored. (And, I remind, as noted in this space back in April, the news arrived that Google had been blacklisting The American Spectator.)

Make no mistake. The battle against the totalitarian mindset that is increasingly, vividly targeting conservatives with social media to unperson and de-platform them has now reached out to get Michelle Malkin.

This battle has only begun. And Michelle’s defiance is exactly the right response. Bravo!
