Kaiser is out with a new tracking poll for October showing that 49 percent of likely voters have an unfavorable view of the national health care law, compared with just 39 percent who have a favorable view.
The poll comes as a big shock given Democrats repeated claims that ObamaCare would become much more popular once it was passed, and be an asset to them in elections.
As the Hill notes, as recently as last month, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said of the law, “It is definitely an advantage for us, because we have aligned ourselves with those who passed Social Security, Medicare and now healthcare for all Americans, not as a right, but a privilege.”
