Peter Brimelow Posts a Rather Large Picture of My Head
by

For the past couple of weeks, I have raised the ire of Peter Brimelow of VDARE.

When I criticized Ann Coulter for incorrectly calling South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley “an immigrant,” Brimelow took me to task for it and only to incorrectly call me an immigrant. Although I was born in Canada, I’ve always had a claim to U.S. citizenship, which I exercised in 1999 before moving down to Boston the following year. For this, Brimelow nows say I am of immigrant stock. But then again so is he.

Brimelow has also taken both me and The American Spectator to task for not reviewing Coulter’s Adios, America.I replied by stating that if I and or anyone else here at TAS were to review Adios, America, Brimelow would chide us for having someone of immigrant stock write the review anyway. I doubt Ann Coulter gives a damn whether we review her book or not. So why should Brimelow care?

Well, Brimelow apparently cares about this a great deal because he has posted a rather large picture of my head on his website. It is the same one that graces TAS only now it looks like the size of a billboard. I mean if he requires my mug to help circulate his web traffic then fine by me. But this has become rather silly on his part. Once you get past my picture (which takes up most of his post), Brimelow really has nothing to add that is worthy of comment.
