As I noted last night, I attended the rally in honor of those who perished at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando at the hands of an ISIS terrorist.

What I did not mention was that at the conclusion of the rally, a portion of the crowd was shouting something. It didn’t last for more than about 10 seconds or so and I couldn’t make out what was being said.

However, according to The Boston Globe, people were shouting, “Take away the guns!!! Take away the guns!!!”

I do have to praise them for their honesty. After all, liberal politicians, including President Obama and Hillary Clinton, pay lip service to the 2nd Amendment while at the same praising Australia’s gun confiscation program. At least people in this crowd are telling us what they really want.

Nevertheless, they should be careful for what they wish. When you take away guns from the populace, you only affect law abiding citizens. Does anyone honestly think gun confiscation would have deterred Omar Mateen from obtaining a weapon? Our gun laws mean nothing to Mateen let alone to ISIS.

Despite the fact that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack in Orlando, the LGBT community and The Left at large, has ignored this and is bitterly clinging to gun control.
