Bill Burton and Obama are Sick Human Beings
by

Longtime Obama political honcho Bill Burton, now head of a main pro-Obama super-PAC, has the single sickest, vilest, most reprehensible ad since the NAACP blamed G.W. Bush for the truck-dragging deaths of a Texas black man. The ad effectively blames Romney for the cancer death of the wife of a former worker at a Bain Capital-rescued steel mill that later closed down.

Perhaps somebody should punch Burton in the nose. And then spit in his face. Or, at least, that would be the moral equivalent of what Burton has done to Romney. If Obama doesn’t disavow the ad, and soon, he should be held to account for it — not because he authorized it, but because it so violates the tone that he repeatedly promised that he must weigh in to rebuke his own close associate, if he is to maintain any pose of basic human decency.

Apart from decency, the ad is ludicrous on its face. Not only does it blame Romney for a plant closure that happened after he left Bain — one that happened as the entire steel industry was taking it on the chin, several years after Bain SAVED all the jobs there by helping provide funds to keep it afloat — but the man’s wife died another five years after the closure, in 2006 — after being diagnosed with cancer only 22 days earlier.

So we have an illness that turned deadely blamed on lack of insurance, blamed on a plant closure five years earlier, blamed on a director of Bain who had left Bain two years earlier even than that, assessed blame for investments that probably extended the man’s job at the plant for several years longer than he otherwise would have had it.

Sick. Sick. Sick. Depraved. Unconscionable. Disgusting. The work of a depraved, despicably immoral thug.
