Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders Go To War Over Single Payer Healthcare
by

Hillary Clinton has found her support dwindling these last few weeks, and Bernie Sanders is reportedly pulling even with the presumptive nominee among Iowa caucus-goers.

So what’s a girl to do? Easy. Point out to her loving public that Bernie Sanders has no grasp of even basic economics, and although he considers his “give everything away for free” campaign platform to be both cheap and affordable, his healthcare plan alone – a single payer nightmare designed to mire Americans in a government-run system – will cost so much, he’ll have raise taxes on the Middle Class just to make the website work.

According to Hillary’s “Briefing” Twitter account, dedicated to countering misinformation, we’re in for a $15 trillion Bernie bill.

Even without the $15 trillion in “Medicaid for All,” the budget is rage-inducing. College for all. Social Security for all. Pensions for all. Estate taxes for all. Environmental regulations for all. Missing? According to Clinton, the last line that says “tax hikes for all.” She’s probably not wrong. As Margaret Thatcher once famously said, socialism only works until you run out of other peoples’ money. And once the rich flee to private islands and the small businesses making more than a quarter million per year are exhausted, Bernie will, no doubt, come for the middle class.

Sanders, in response, has told CNN that his team will not release the cost of his Medicaid plan before the Caucus. Wonder why.

By the way, it’s not as though Clinton’s plan is any better. She’s proposed nothing more than Obamacare on steroids, with a tax plan that will “lessen the burden” on those currently paying out the nose for healthcare (like yours truly), by forcing the 1% to pay their fair share and doubling down on estate and death taxes. She won’t repeal the problematic parts of Obamacare, and has little interest in reforming the good parts to make them more effective. She just won’t extend Medicaid to everyone. At least, not at first. Bottom line: the main difference between how she and Bernie will implement single payer health care: she’ll just wait until you’re desperate.
