Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) revealed yesterday that she owed $287,000 in back property taxes on a plane she co-owns with her husband and other investors. This comes after she had to return $88,000 to the Treasury for public money she spent flying on the plane. McCaskill faces a tough reelection race in 2012, so the NRSC is already having some fun with “Claire Air.”
