Michael Walsh Has No Case
by

Yesterday afternoon, Michael Walsh replied to my criticism of his article on PJ Media in which he berated Boston for cowering in fear of a wounded teenager with a gun.

Well, sort of.

Walsh protested that Boston was his “familial home town.” Well, clearly whatever affection he had for the Hub is long gone.

Other than that, he focused on a paragraph in which I mentioned that my roommate and I went out to dinner before Tsarnaev was captured and declared, “I rest my case.”

What case? Walsh claimed Boston was “cowering in fear.” A restaurant opening its doors for business and people coming over for dinner isn’t exactly the behavior of people cowering in fear.

Or put it another way. I dare Walsh to walk into Doyle’s and tell the proprietors and patrons that the people of Boston were cowards last week. But I’m not holding my breath. Walsh would probably feel safer hiding behind his computer. Somehow I doubt Walsh has the guts to tell the people of Boston what he thinks of us to our faces.
