Barney Frank vs. Joel Pollak Revisited
by

With Barney Frank announcing he will not seek re-election to Congress I thought I would bring you back to one of his greatest misses.

In April 2009, I attended a speech he gave at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government concerning the financial crisis and here is my account. It was during this speech when Frank went ballistic when Harvard Law student Joel Pollak asked him if he bore any responsibility for the financial crisis in his role as Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee.

Pollak ran unsuccessfully for Congress last year in Chicago against Jan Schakowsky but he did cut into her vote total. Currently Pollak works for Andrew Breitbart.

Sean Bielat gave Frank a run for his money in 2010. At the moment, Bielat hasn’t decided if he is going to run again. If Bielat decides against running, the Fourth Congressional District of Massachusetts could do far worse than Joel Pollak.
