Actress Ann B. Davis died today of a subdural hematoma following a fall in her home in Texas.

She was 88.

Despite her age, Davis did not have any health problems and her friends are stunned by her passing.

Davis is, of course, best known for her portrayal of Alice Nelson, the housekeeper on The Brady Bunch. She would reprise this role in a number of TV movies and would also appear in commercials for products such as Miracle White detergent, Minute Rice, and Shake n’ Bake

Davis never married, but here she is trying her luck at love on The Dating Game.
