With 54 House Republicans voting against the continuing resolution, we might be seeing a rebellion brewing over the leadership’s cautious approach to cutting spending. It won’t take very many such defections in the Senate to potentially torpedo the whole thing. Marco Rubio has already said he won’t vote for anymore short-term spending measures.
