A Conservative Poet in Cambridge
by

Tomorrow night I will be the featured poet at the Stone Soup Poetry Reading Series in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The reading takes place at the Yarrow Gallery (formerly known as the Out of the Blue Gallery) in Central Square beginning at 8 p.m.

Yes, I am reading on Halloween and I am sure that to the residents of the People’s Republic of Cambridge the thought of a conservative poet in their midst is rather spooky.

This will be my second time as the featured poet at Stone Soup. I featured there for the first time last year the day after the Fourth of July.

I will be reading poems inspired by politics including several poems about President Obama and a new poem about the Occupy movement. There will also be poems inspired by other passions as man cannot live by politics alone.

If you find yourself in the Boston area tomorrow night I hope you will come out and listen.
