Judge Who Said That Planned Parenthood Videos Put Abortion Providers at Risk Bundled More Than $200,000 for Obama in ’08
by

On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick III said that the Planned Parenthood videos made by the Center for Medical Progress did not demonstrate criminal activity and added that the videos put abortion providers at risk citing last month’s shooting at the Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs which claimed the lives of three people.

The National Abortion Federation petitioned Orrick to extend an earlier ruling to block the release of further videos. Despite his comments, Orrick did not issue a ruling.

Over at The Inquisitir, Bradley Ryder asked, “Will Carly Fiorina and GOP critics accept the court’s opinion?”

But what Ryder (nor for that matter CBS) fail to disclose is that Judge Orrick was appointed to his current position by President Obama in 2013. Nor do they disclose that Orrick was a significant fundraiser and contributor to Barack Obama’s 2008 camapaign. According to Public Citizen (which can hardly be called a conservative outfit), Orrick bundled at least $200,000 while also donating more than $30,000 to various committees in support of Obama. He also bundled at least $100,000 for John Kerry in 2004.

This certainly sheds lights on Judge Orrick’s comments at last Friday’s hearing. As such it should be understood that the views expressed by Orrick were his personal and political views, not a legal point of view. But one would never know that if one were to rely on The Insquistir which like the rest of the liberal media turns out to be not very inquisitive much less forthcoming when it comes to the left-wing inclinatons of supposedly impartial public figures.
