All schools in Los Angeles were closed this morning due to an “unspecified threat” against students and involved backpacks “and other packages.”
According to ABC News, the LAPD is saying this isn’t a serious threat and is unrelated to what occurred in San Bernardino nearly two weeks ago.
Well, if it isn’t a serious threat then why close all the schools in America’s second largest city? Would this step have been taken if the San Bernardino attack hadn’t happened? L.A. is an hour west of San Bernardino. Even if this threat turns out to be a hoax, this decision to close all schools in Los Angeles has everything to do with what happened in San Bernardino.
