David Hill has a piece in The Hill about how those pesky intangibles — plus strong poll numbers — could help Rudy Giuliani win over conservatives. There are things I’d quibble with — I don’t even understand what Hill’s contention that Giuliani’s patriotism is “purer” than McCain’s means — but it seems like a basically sound analysis of the current state of play.
